Lest we forget, it was not so long ago that folks in here were crying about Kelce getting overpowered by big nose tackles. That all went away in 2016.

Why? you ask. Because that's when we brought in Brooks to play RG.

Assume for a moment that some other team gets Jordan Davis. You think Linderbaum and Driscoll will be able to move him, much less block him one-on-one?

Keep dreaming.

Avoiding drafting a center because a team on our schedule might draft Davis is silly. That’s all there is to it.

What about signing a C in FA. The ravens center is pretty good and will be 27. That's of course if Kelce retires. I feel like it keeps Seumalo and Landon at their better positions and nothing is forced.

What's really sad is that Bobby Hoying is probably the best quarterback that school has produced in the last thirty years. Until Fields, that is.

It isn't good.

I went through the QB’s in my head and drew the same conclusion. It’s all changing now, though. Stroud is going #1.

I won’t pretend to know anything about the Ravens center, but I think there’s a decent chance Seumalo is our center next year.

I'm pretty sure that's not what he said.

We'll always have his breakfast vs Cincinnati in 1997

I’ll let him explain it.

You are deliberately missing my point.

He was still good here but really he's a Giants Legend

You are the one who used a very specific player as a reason why we couldn’t pair Driscoll and Lindbaum together. How many players like Davis (at least how he’s projected to be) can we expect to face in a given season?

I certainly don’t think it’s a reason to avoid drafting him.

Well, I think that ultimately, he's a Philadelphian legend.   Started with the Philadelphia Stars.

I feel like Seumalo has never played well at C. But between him, Driscoll, and Dickerson, I am confident next year's center is already on our roster. The winner of that battle is going to be a hell of a C. And the other 2 are great guards. We are set across all 5 starting OL positions.

When's the last time you've spent significant time in San Antonio?  It's a completely different city from even 6 years ago, which before this summer (spent most of it there) was my last lengthy stay.  The drive to San Antonio is not bad, but i'm talking once you're there.  It's an absolute mess.

About a month ago. No real issues getting around but I recall San Antonio when I10 was a single lane each way so that would be my measurement for driving through San Antonio.  Also there last summer. Went to the River Walk for Mexican food.  Same trip, I went through OKC.  You go there much?  Just distance on OKC for a small city population wise its like driving through Dallas.  Stayed outside Tulsa and filled with gas and drove straight through MO because of the Delta outbreak.

It's not a reason to avoid drafting him, absolutely. He's a fine player. Nevertheless, he has a certain limitation, as does Driscoll. The problem is, it's the same limitation.

And there are a lot of stout DTs in the NFL. I chose Davis because he has been the subject of conversation here. I'd love to have him. Not only is he a fine player, but he can wreck teams that are a little light in the interior line, all by himself. That's precisely what I fear.

This I like. Isaac goes about 315 these days and he can move.

I think Dickerson will start at G next season. The paring of him and Mailata the past few games has been great. Linderbaum would be a fantastic player to take over for Kelce

But, can he dance?

McBride is my top TE, but I’m watching Kolar right now  , he looks to have a NFL future

Hula, probably.

Big fan of Kolar. 6'6" and makes contested catches. Solid blocker too. Should go around 4-5 RD.

Him and Goedert together would be a handful.

Well, heard the same thing about Kelce for years.. guess I just want another guy with similar traits.

If they think Lindbaum or whatever his name is can be a pro bowl center, then roll with him and find a bigger guard if it’s an issue. I wouldn’t let Driscoll factor in at all.
