Side note, got covid few days ago. Smell/taste disappeared last night for me. I should recover just fine, but this no taste/smell thing is the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced.

Really underrated how awful that symptom is. Hopefully it's just a few days for you.

I can't believe the Dolphins are giving actual snaps to Brissett. It's one thing to give him sneaks to protect Tua, but actual plays?

Was Tua benched?

Reagor is fast, but he’s straight line. He surprisingly has very little wiggle to his game.

I think he is a 1 cut and go but he doesn't 1 cut he 15 cuts. I think he will get it. Just needs to be more patient and not always look for the big play

Well if it's anything like last year they are giving the ball to a veteran QB when the game gets close

Frankly I can’t wait for Jameis Winston‘s ESPN 30 for 30 about his 30 and 30 season

Is this a real thing?

It's great watching an offense without pulling out my hair. Never realized how much Wentz made me hate watching football.

I don't understand why so many people continue to hate on Wentz.  He was bad last year but so was the entire team as well as the coaching.  Not calling you out but you go to the Eagles twitter feed and you have Eagles beat writers still taking shots at Wentz.  IMO, he doesn't deserve the hate.  I think we should all be disappointed in how things played out but the outright hate towards him just blows my mind.

The entire O-line played together today.

Only 2 RB's played.  There was no silly rotation with no rhyme or reason.  Sanders and Gainwell both played very well and they stuck with it.

The play calling was some of the best we've seen in a while.

Those 3 things alone would help out any quarterback.

Can’t hold the ball in this league. Wentz (who put up nice numbers) Took 4 bad sacks today and it hurt the Colts.

I already went over this I watched that game. Davenport might be the worst starting left tackle in the league. Carson Wentz held onto the ball maybe like two or three times but for the majority of that second half their oline was just getting absolutely destroyed by the Seahawks. There was a two point conversion where the entire right side of the line didn’t block anybody and they had three guys getting Carson Wentz after the ball was snapped.

Don’t get me wrong Carson was not great today. But that oline look like they hadn’t played with each other all preseason because two of them were injured and one shouldn’t be out there

No. I’m watching the Dolphins was running a few wildcat plays.

No but I’m really hoping it is

Maybe he is a long strider for only being 5'10"? it is weird though. He is blowing past people and still looks like he isn't moving

Yes! That punt had me screaming too. He had at least a good 10yds in front of him and he decided to run towards the opposite sideline. I'm thinking you better have a effing plan for this cause it doesn't look good!!! Lol

Yup, as much as people hated a guy like Reno mahe he was a secure PR and while he wasn't going to break one off one knew when he caught it he'd go forward and get what he could.

I think Greg ward is like that except who knows if he'll catch the count and too many times he'd let it bounce or go over his head.

Id settle for a guy that caught it every time and got positive yards Everytime whether that 4 yards or 10 yards a secure punt and a couple yards is better than a muff or negative yards

At least reagor caught all his punts cleanly, no bobbles or muffs or letting the ball bounce it's just once he fielded them too much dancing

To all the Hurts haters, how was Hurts’ completion % today?

Is 77% good enough or should he work on that more?

How about his 2nd half stats? Did teams "figure him out” yet?

I’ll wait.

Danny Dimes 🤣

Jones-ing!

How's the saying go, if one has 2 QBs one doesn't have any so run the wildcat...🤔

I'm happy for him and he played great. I already admitted it in the game day thread so I'll do it here as well.

I was rooting for Danny dimes to be just good enough that they bring them back next year as a starter. But I have a feeling they’re gonna use those two first round picks go get a better quarterback than him

Thanks man appreciate it. Body aches were far worse for me, but this is a close second. Worst part is I don’t really get to enjoy all the game day grub that was made today lol

The Packers are imploding.  It sums up their mad offseason

I'm not a hurts hater, and while I've heard the grumblings about his % and his 2nd half the one stat that matters more to me, is zero turnovers and 3 tds.

Not only did he not have any lost fumbles he didnt have any fumbles.

Not going to lose to many games with a 3 TD to 0 turnover ratio.

Hope he keeps keeping that ball safe

Bad week 1 for GB

Definitely a surprising outcome for me.  Easy win on the road and the best defensive effort by any team in the league this week.

Hurts very efficient line — 27/35, 264, 3 TD/0 INT, 7 runs against 35 passes is the 17% ratio I’m thinking can succeed if he stays with it.  Very well done.

TDs for Smith, Goedert, and Reagor.  Great to get the young talent going.

Defense held in the red zone on the first two drives, then dominated the rest of the way

It’s only one game but a great start.  Hopefully they can build on it

Just checking in- Anyone else concerned about the lack of down field passing from the Birds in that game?  HUrts 1st TD was nice, but not much after that. Seemed like we were throwing everything within 10 yards of scrimmage. I thought for sure with the speed we have at WR now, we would at least take a few shots?

Phillies lost. Such losers
