The other  2 RBs that aren't Sanders just look ahead of Gainwell - there is no harm in a rookie taking a week or two off if he is struggling a bit with the game.  Esp when pass pro could be a big part of the game today

Boston Scott has played well, but I'd prefer he be inactive than Gainwell. Sanders will fill Scott's recent role on offense and I still like Gainwell as a 3rd down RB. It's not a big deal though. Since he's active, I would like to see Scott return kicks. I think he's better at it than Quez/Jalen.

Kenny Gainwell sitting is not a problem. He's a rookie and this is not the game to play RB matchups against Davis/Jenkins. The Saints can cover RBs in the flat.

Sirianni's game planning has been good the past few weeks. If he outcoaches Payton/Allen, Sirianni might actually be the long-term solution.

Perhaps it won’t matter - Siri may go all jeckyl and hyde again with 40+ pass attempts. I’ll give him props he doesn’t, given what the Saints D is.

Can he produce going up against Lattimore?

My other options are Donta Foreman and Devonta Freeman.

I think it’s more a ST’s thing. Gainwell hasn’t played a single snap there, Scott has played 24% of ST’s
