The main problem with that is they have Smith and Goedert and nobody else to throw to. Hurts needs to continue to get better and be  consistent but he is clearly making strides.

If guys like Cole Beasley can get open and make catches then so can our guys. Hurts just looks for his first read, and if that isn't open he pulls the ball down.

For the record making the playoffs would do us far more harm than good

I don’t disagree with that but if he’s on the team and he’s healthy, you play him. He’s still a clear upgrade over Driscoll.

imo I’d rather find a replacement for Brooks that isn’t Driscoll. It’s why I like Kenyon Green from A&M a lot as a first round guy. Has experience at RT & RG also, so potential Brooks or Lane replacement.

Only thing is do you take a IOL in first round with all the defensive needs, probably not

I like that Austrian kid from Central Michigan, plays RT in college but projects inside at the next level.

Will be available day 2.

It's been bugging me for ages for who Sean Payton is slowly turning into as he ages.  It's this kid from Mad Magazine

Next week is the Giants revenge game. I expect it to be choppy as hell

I like Driscoll, but in the Matt Pryor role.

Because we kicked them out of the playoffs last season? That was a favor lol

Alfred E. Neuman is the guys name.

I would have agreed last year, but this year we have a new coach trying build a culture. A playoff berth as a seventh seed isn’t necessarily exciting, but I’d feel really good about the direction of the team under Sirianni.

You haven't been paying attention the last few weeks. He's started to hang in the pocket longer and go beyond his first read. Time for a new slant.

Also, Cole Beasley has been one of the better slot WR's in the NFL over the last few years. Unlike Reagor who can't play at all.

Yeah.

Some of you have backwards brains.

Just now, Casey @ Bat said:

That's it. A school friend of mine when I was 8/9 used to bring Mad Magazine into school but I had forgotten his name!

Beat up on the NFCE and sneak into the playoffs!

Picks be damned!

Never know once you're at the dance.

False.

Our offense is primarily doing it on the backs of young players. Our entire coaching staff is young. Also, culture matters. We want a culture of winners.

Please explain. Playoff experience for Hurts, Sirianni, and Gannon is a huge plus. Those high draft picks have really worked out for the bottom dwellers of the NFL🙄

The Saints had 8 guys catch balls today, and not all of them are great talents. Hurts has had some plays where he's hung in the pocket, but he's still not doing it consistently.

You don’t remember how pissed they were? Oh man the coaches, players all of them were talking ish on Twitter & in PC. When schedule was released they still made a point to mention first game against us.

Giants snuck in TWICE at 8-8 and won the SB. Its stupid to tank if you still have a shot.

Better as depth for sure. I don’t see nor want him as long term starter. But he’s quality depth

Sorry to be that guy, but the Giants were 10-6 in 2007, and 9-7 in 2011.

Last year, making the playoffs at 6-10 was dumb. The NFCE was historically bad. In any other division, we go 3-13.

This year, we're beating teams by 10+ points. We have 3 blowout wins in our past 4 games, none of them in the NFCE. Our offense is legitimately good and can play against anyone.

Our schedule this year was harder than last year and 10-7 is on the table.

Context matters. Siemien threw the ball 40 times, Hurts only threw it 24 times. Siemien also was down big for most of the second half and faced prevent defenses. Hurts outplayed him by a wide margin today and it's not even debatable. Hurts still needs to get better but saying that he only makes on read and takes off doesn't hold water after recent weeks where he has shown improvement in that very area. It's lazy and time for you and others to come up with something new.
