I'm still absolutely amazed there was no flag for that little fight with Mailata

Will say this though.

WFT looked good @ CAR

Had that game on in the background.

Heineke looked sharp. Big time throws and yards scrambling when plays broke down. McLaurin is a beast. Gibson is hard to bring down.

But I think the Eagles could beat them twice given how well the run game has been lately.

Didn't they lose Young for the season? I think I saw somewhere that he had a season ending injury

Better comparison is other RBs with multi rush TD games.  Let’s compare apples to apples.

....and it's posts like this after a great win where the QB plays extremely well that make it so obvious that some have an agenda for him to fail.

I don't think they can move on from him because of his contract

Brooks is the best candidate for a June 1 designation — saves $13.5M to release him before next season.  Not sure what the impact of a trade would be

Yeah he's done for the year.

Their offense is more potent than their defense nowadays.

Cowgirls are Garbage.

Look, no one in their right mind thinks this is a good team. The defense has flaws galore, and have little shot at stopping a good QB.

Driscoll struggled at RG, well, he's still learning how to play guard. If Brooks can make it back, Eagles have the #1 OL by a wide margin.

Hurts now has 15 starts under his belt, remember, they traded Ertz, Smith is a rookie, it's not like he's running the Rams offense in its prime - they're all learning on the job.

But they've won 3 out of 4, just dominated a solid Saints team at home, and the arrow is pointed up.

I don't care about draft position, it's not the end of the world if we pick #10, #15, #20 and have 3 5th rd picks to boot.

I had them at 7-10, well they're 5-6, they should take 3-2 or 4-1 of the next five, then Dallas to finish the season at home.

If I told you in August they could go into that game 8-8 or 9-7 with a legitimate shot at a PO berth  . . .

When you have more rushing attempts than pass completions, you are a running back.  Has nothing to do with an agenda.

Lol

taunting on number 25 of kansas city. 15 yard penalty, loss of juicebox privileges, and an written apology after the game

soft ass league

Oh for the love of god. Part of the reason the run game is so dominant is because DE's are often frozen since they have to account for Hurts. The same thing happens in Baltimore and if you'll notice RB's for Baltimore have consistently had an incredibly high YPC average with Lamar at QB. Hurts isn't Lamar but he is probably the second best running QB in the league.

Second, the Saints were without Alvin Kamara and had to trout out the ghost of Mark Ingram at RB who had 16 carries for 88 yards.

Third, Hurts was going up against a much tougher defense than Siemien was.

Fourth, quit changing the goal post. I never said Hurts was a great passer or capable of winning a game just on his arm. What I said was, he has shown the ability over recent weeks to hang in the pocket longer and get beyond his first read more consistently than he has in the past. You continue to ignore that you are wrong about that and come back with the next thing to complain about Hurts over. It's almost like you are just looking for things to nitpick the guy about. But hey, if you'd rather have Trevor Siemien and his completed passes to 8 different receivers good for you.

This. A mobile QB makes such a difference in that regard.

We played one of the best Defense in the league and absolutely wrecked them. Love it.

If Minnesota lost today we would have been in the wildcard. Down year all around.

imo I’d rather find a replacement for Brooks that isn’t Driscoll. It’s why I like Kenyon Green from A&M a lot as a first round guy. Has experience at RT & RG also, so potential Brooks or Lane replacement.

Only thing is do you take a IOL in first round with all the defensive needs, probably not

Would have zero issue with picking Green

Didn't the Saints D have the longest streak of not giving up 30 points?

Well, we smashed that.

Pittsburgh they said and it's still going

I thought the announcers said 30 it was them and new Orleans

Some random thoughts from the game

-Hurts was solid in the running game, but still leaves you wanting a lot more from him as a passer. Pocket presence, anticipating throws, seeing the field, arm talent questionable at best

-Love me some Jordan Howard. Hopefully he's okay. I had about enough of Sanders. He leaves way too much meat on the bone, especially compared to Howard, and he can't hold onto the ball to save his life. That was really painful.

-Can we get a different returner? Reagor is terrible at it.

+++ for Slay, Cox, the OL, Elliott, and also Sirianni.

I think he said "offensive play of the game” but still

Dak’s arm looks stronger than normal

Giants and Jets are 27th and 29th against the run.

Not that it matters since our O-line can bully any Defense in the league.

I know it was a single few seconds so don’t put a ton of stock in it, but Lurie looked completely miserable while we were up big.

I just have an agenda to have a qb centric offense instead of a wildcat offense.
