Shhhh don't let facts ruin things. When they are running the ball and he can take off he looks good. When that isn't there and he must consistently throw the ball he sucks. He isn't an NFL starting QB for a legit contender. He is a mirage that gives is fanboys false hope.

Disregarding the fact that he passed more than he ran, if you take snaps under center at QB then you're the QB.

When a primary runner takes snaps under center, they call it wildcat.  Depending on your definition of wildcat, it also involves the OL.

I’m not miserable, I just want to make sure the Eagles find a qb to complement the rest of the team, which may be ready a little sooner than expected.

Plus, he takes care of the football. You can win with a guy who makes plays on 3rd down and protects the football.

It's the Philly way.

Doesn't matter if it's McNabb/Kolb/Vick/Foles/Wentz/Hurts, a segment of the fanbase will always root for the QB to fail, even if they don't admit to it.

Heck, the last QB that got unconditional support through out his Eagle career was probably Jeff Garcia

I agree- still not where he needs to be, but improved. He still had a few head scratching plays though. He has 6 more games to improve enough to be considered for starting next year.

How the heck do you not see the problem in saying that the starting quarterback is a big part of the running identity?  
 

This is like saying that your unreliable kicker is a big part of your identity to be aggressive on 4th down.

I'm happy they are playing well and Hurts is using his legs in a dominant way.  But imagine if we had a QB that allowed this team to dial up a deep ball with Quez or DeVonta?  I've been saying it all year.  We will never see how good these WR or TE can be if they don't bring in a QB who can get them the ball.
