No they'll win the division. Then get bounced wild card weekend. In true Dallass fashion.

Sounds about right.

Hurts has to get Watkins and Reagor involved or they will disengage.   Has to spread it around some, as much as he is able

I kind of think Reagor felt some type of way with the Smith pick. Smith leap frogged Reagor and is the #1 now while Reagor is returning punts lol

I want the focus to bot be on three hours of "fun”. It has to be a comprehensive view. Does this win against a poor team help us develop into a contender? I would say unlikely other than the OL. Thats a positive development i can take from this game regardless of the outcome

The saints defense is not a poor unit at all. And we put up 40 points on them.

As crazy as it sounds they need to put Reagor on the back burner and give more snaps to Ward.  A few on here including myself have been sayin this for a couple weeks.

Fair enough just need to spread it around

How the heck do you not see the problem in saying that the starting quarterback is a big part of the running identity?

This is like saying that your unreliable kicker is a big part of your identity to be aggressive on 4th down.

I don't see a problem with winning.

It's weird seeing Brees on NBC

So you want to lose? Instead of win and build a winning culture. Got it. 🙄

Why not?

Dallas has a 2.5 game lead and everyone left on their schedule is a winnable game except Arizona.

If Dallas loses the division that would be a major, big time implosion.

Team has taken a major step forward with the run game renaissance. We would become really hard to stop if we played Minshew so that we could have a prayer at converting a 3rd and 6 if that scenario arises. Imagine this offense, with the ability to pass the ball just a bit.

It's more fun to win games than to look forward to the draft. But that fun is immediate gratification. It won't feel so fun come April if the Eagles are picking 17th with no playoff wins to show for it. Especially with Howie picking the talent.

It might be unavoidable - the schedule is all dreck. It’s not like we make the WC and lose 10 slots of draft position like WAS last year - I’m ambivalent (we could go 11-6😵💫).

Hurts is not an NFL QB who can out throw someone to win a game. He flat out isn't. Can he pass the ball after the running game gets going? Sure, sometimes, but most NFL QB can. Can he make plays with his feet? Sure. But he can not consistently...there is the word...consistently throw the ball well at a SB level? Nope. He needs everything to be perfect and if it isn't he sucks. Running QB do not win SB. That is what he is and when games get tight he is crap. You and the rest of his fans won't believe it. He'll probably look good a few more weeks. If they were playing a good team with a real QB he'd look pedestrian.

There are so many ways to win a football game.  No style points are awarded.  The rest of the season is going to be really miserable for you as the Eagles continue to win against a really easy remaining schedule.

Stop whining. Hurts is fine as a passer. Did you see him run three touchdowns in? What a passer. Did you see him break that dude's ankles running the football? Such a passer. We're winning games loser. Hurts can really throw the football. We're running like 70% of the time because Hurts is so good at passing.

And my God, his leadership!

It should be Gainwell in the slot

The broncos seemed like a winnable game to them. We also play them again at home.

Huh?   They were throwing the ball too much in the 4th quarter, and it nearly bit them in the ass.  As soon as they went back to the more 'conservative' running game... they took over the game and put it out of reach.

Dak is Garbage! Can't play without his 1st round WRs

I don’t know if he’s garbage, but that loss today is on him. That’s the worst game I’ve seen him play since he was a rookie.

I think.

The thing about the DL talent in this draft is.... You have possibly Thibodeaux and Hutchinson going top 5. And then there is Karalaftis. Who might be excellent. But is exactly the type of DE this board kind of hates.  There is Leal likely in the top 10, and then no other pass rushing DT worth taking early.

If we arent in the top 5 for the ND safety, or one of the top 2 DEs, its almost better that we pick AFTER Karalaftis is off the board. Because then its a bunch of twitchy options again. Youre still in proper range for the next safeties off the board, and you have enough CB talent throughout to get one later in the round as well.

If we arent top 5, Howie is set up to draft a guy who doesnt live up to his draft slot in the 6-15ish range. We are almost better off picking in the mid-late portions of the round.

That came from handoffs to Boston Scott, which did not work, some screen passes got mixed in, which did not work except one decent one to Goedert, and then they had to pass out of 3rd and long. Which Hurts cant do.

Howard getting hurt, and trying to give Scott carries over Sanders because of his fumble just wasnt working. Scott isnt the type of back to have success against a physical front 7. Once they fed Sanders again, it was back to business.

61 today for Smith - needs 336 to get to 1000.  Gonna be close in this offense and this QB.  Love the winning and will take it.  With the Cowboys losing I'm thinking we beat them last game of the season to win the division.

You’d need Dallas to lose 3 times since we have 6 losses and their 3. and then beat Dallas to win the division. I don’t believe if they tied that we would own the tiebreaker as currently Dallas is undefeated in the division and better conference record. So Dallas has vs. raiders, at NO, at Washington, at giants, vs. Washington, vs. Arizona and at eagles. Really don’t see them losing more than two games before playing us.

say whatever we want about KC but their defense has been vastly better the last 4 weeks. Given up 17, 7, 14, and 9. That’s 11.8 ppg. One came against Jordan love but that’s still a massive improvement in four weeks from earlier in the season where they were giving up 29 ppg.

Not exactly... I am talking about these two drives... throwing on 2nd down on both...

Saw the Colts highlights. I'm starting to really believe most of the credit for our Lombardi is on Frank Reich. He should have been our HC. Maybe he should be in the statue.
