What better way to rebuild than with the 3 first round picks Howie will send them for Wilson.  They will be set up to build a young core.  Would be a great situation to be in.

Carroll loves running so much, he might want Hurts for Wilson straight up.

What you aren’t impressed by beating a team down their starting QB, best weapon, best WR, starting LT and RT? Lol

By a team without both starting OGs, and their top DE?

Considering how much 4i we play, the exact DE this board hates would be pretty useful.

I agree. He seems like exactly the type of DE we have been targeting over the last few years.

But Id also say that theyre harder to project. When you are winning with strength at college, how much have you maxed that out already? How much room is there to improve?

The 2 highest profile DEs in recent drafts of a similar mold that I can think of would be Epenesa, and Ferrell. Neither are very good so far.

It seems to make more sense to take a twitchy guy and watch him add strength over the years. Rather than add a strong guy who will never become more quick/fast.

You know what will happen. We will draft Karalaftis. He wont have great sack numbers. And Howie will be crucified. Despite him being the best fit for the D.

Seriously?  Interesting dude, Little Steven.

Understatement.  Parsons is what the Redskins hoped they had in LaVar Arrington.

Parsons is going to be a flat out dominant player.  Thing is, it's not just the sacks.  He just makes plays.  He's around the ball and has a nose for it.  It's a slam dunk for Dallas unfortunately.

At least until he ends up in prison

You mean Brandon brooks who’s been hurt the last 2 years consistently and major injuries each of the last 3 years. And a 33 year old defensive end they probably shouldn’t be relying on to be a starter anymore?

Stop.  Your assessment of the OL play recently only shows your ignorance on the subject.

I knocked the Dickerson pick because of the injuries not the talent.  Dickerson is better than Seumalo right now.

People were arguing that Siemien and the Saints we faced today are in the same league as Josh Allen and the Bills. Some people are very impressed.

It's more fun to win games than to look forward to the draft. But that fun is immediate gratification. It won't feel so fun come April if the Eagles are picking 17th with no playoff wins to show for it. Especially with Howie picking the talent.

Well the redeeming factor is that you have some faith in your coaching staff going into next season. Better than being stuck cycling through new coaches.

Did Quez Watkins have a catch today?

At this right Russell Wilson may be begging to come to Philly. Seahawks stink.

I’m actually impressed by the overall state of the team, just not the QB.

Stop whining. Hurts is fine as a passer. Did you see him run three touchdowns in? What a passer. Did you see him break that dude's ankles running the football? Such a passer. We're winning games loser. Hurts can really throw the football. We're running like 70% of the time because Hurts is so good at passing.

And my God, his leadership!

Of course, it might help if Goedert didn't drop 2 passes, and his WRs could actually get open.

Eagles desperately need a big possession WR with hands that snatch, because Hurts was putting the ball where his WRs could make plays.

But Jackson isn't a WR (he's as raw as they come) and even Smith struggled to get separation today.

Only way i would trade for him

Yup.  I still would have preferred my pick preference at the time in Humphrey, but Dickerson's play, and more so his health, is encouraging.

The defense continues to feast on subpar QBs.  And since that's all that's left on the schedule until that last game... the defense should be keeping all opponents under 24 ppg the rest of the way.

Mike Parson seems like a good pick for the boys - but I’d really like to see Lane let off the leash with this run attack against a 235lb DE.

Brandon Brooks basically ended Kuechly's career. Kuechly came back but didnt play much longer. Pretty sure he had at least 1 more concussion since then and called it quits.

Cowboy's LBs of recent history are injury prone. Lee, Vander Esch...

Parsons having to face this OL twice a year is a rough way to make a living.

We are 5-6.  Winning a game against a team that was dead on arrival is not evidence that it’s OK to build the offense around a qb that can’t pass.

Very real chance this team wins at least 10 games this season with the remaining schedule.  And he can pass.  The way haters like you talk about him it's like he is turning the ball over like crazy or something.  No, instead he's just moving the offense, scoring points and now winning games.

Smith was 4 for 61 against one of the best corners in the league. He could've had a TD on the LB if Hurts didn't miss him/throw it late and he could've had a 2nd if he didn't trip.

Very close to 6 for 80+ and 2 TDs. I'd say he was open enough.

The right side of the OL should be a high priority in the draft.  Brooks is already gone, Lane is on borrowed time, and Driscoll is a flexible backup, not a starter.  They’ve got a great position coach and will be surrounded by other quality players on the line.

The chances of success and good return on investment with a high pick on a RG or RT are very, very good…much better than if they go with a different position.

Even if there are weaker positions, building a dominant OL is a great start to the rebuild.

Yup.  The defense wasn’t as bad as the first half of the season led everyone to believe, and it’s not as good as the second half will leave everyone thinking.

At this point, the Eagles are what their schedule allows them to be.  Beat the bad teams, lose to the good ones.  That’s an improvement from losing to the bad teams.

Eh i think the defense being good the past 3 weeks is more to do with bad or mediocre QBs. They expose bad to mediocre QBs. Like you should have success against Goff/lions, bridgewater and siemian. I expect the trend to continue cause jones, heinicke and Wilson/Flacco/white the next 5 weeks.

Dillard at LT, Mailata at RT. Pretty set. Driscoll is fine next to Mailata.

The Eagles average just over 199 passing yards a game. Currently only the winless Lions, Bears and Texans are worse.

"Hurts passing is fine"
