I don't know why I laughed so hard at this, but I love that you had to clarify Austria is in Europe (and I understand people might've assumed you meant Australia if you didn't qualify it)

Yeah lol, considering our influx of Australian talent, I'd figure most people would read past and automatically assume.

It could be worse

Defense against good offenses and QBs is a problem.

Yesterday the defense set the eagles up with 17 points: pick 6, eagles got the ball after a pick only having to go 39 yards for a td and Ingram fumble only went 12 yards for a fg.

I would imagine their EPA for yesterday's game was still good.  Hurts as a passer keeps them from being an elite passing offense.  Hurts as a runner makes them an elite running team.  I think an elite running team that produces points is a dangerous team in the playoffs.

That's so strange that they still want to do that

Does he need to be the starting QB for those 4 seasons or just sometime in those 4 seasons?

This is really strange.  In 7 games this season he has 104 yards rushing, 52 yards receiving, and 56 yards passing.  Meanwhile, Siemian was 6-for-20 passing yesterday in the first half, threw a backbreaking pick-6 right before the half, and there wasn't even a consideration to put Hill in for the 2nd half .....

..... and they're paying this stiff $10M minimum for 4 more years, with bonuses on top?  WOW!!

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles - 32
GMen - 31

Bonus:  Boston Scott with over 150 total yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs.

I thought Hill was inactive for an injury?

Unclear but I would imagine it's something like yearly snap % based or something like that

I think he was limited due to a foot and concussion.  But even so the contract seems bonkers.  What's wild is that you pop over to the Saints message board an they're ecstatic.  I don't get it.  Even for the minimum, let alone having him start at QB.

That explains that portion -- but the fact Siemian is even signed and playing there over him.  That's the worst contract in the NFL

I always loved it when they'd bring him in and take Brees out.  Let's take out a 70% passer while he's in a rhythm and snap the ball to this knob so he can run off tackle.

Payton is hell bent on making Taysom Hill a thing, cap space be damned

Zeke re-aggravated his knee injury, him and Lamb might both be out for a little bit. :ph34r:

Damn it!!  Pollard is a MUCH better player, and now gets more touches.  DAL gets better with Zeke doing anything but playing

How are beat writers this dumb

Huge shout outs yesterday for Hurts and for Mailata. I do think the stat line flatters Sanders though. He's a problem.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 45

G-girls - 3

(Yes I'm getting carried away)

Bonus - Eagles have a 200 yard rusher AND go over 300 yards rushing as a team

Hey may as well enjoy this whilst it lasts! Let's all get carried away.

'technically as a rookie'?  :blink:

Not saying I’m out on him but Sirianni reminds me of an elementary school gym teacher. I have a tough time seeing grown men really relating to him. Time will tell and I hope I’m wrong.

I look at it this way. You can shorten the game and amount of possessions against playoff teams to try and even out the talent discrepancy and the total amount of possessions they get.

 but let’s say they play the Bucs. Bucs get 7 possessions cause you are doing that. and score 4 tds and a field goal so 31 points cause our defense has yet to prove it can stop better QBs. Means the eagles are going to have to be pretty efficient in their drives, score tds not fgs and avoid punts cause you won’t get enough possessions to make up for that. Not impossible playing that way but in the playoffs usually get better coaching (i think Todd Bowles would have a game plan), opponents with much better talent  and when they have great QBs like a brady or rodgers you have to be perfect if you are gonna play that way and don’t have a very good defense (which against good QBs has played out) and aren’t getting short fields makes it much tougher

Lamb is likely out with a concussion this week. But he is probably fine for week 13

By this standard mahomes won mvp technically as rookie. Ben Simmons is proud of the rookie of the year counting this way.
