Gonna need a big game from Boobie this week to get back to .500.

Hold on to the ball and hit the hole hard without dancing.

By this standard mahomes won mvp technically as rookie. Ben Simmons is proud of the rookie of the year counting this way.

I don't think he knows what 'technically' means.

I literally agree with you.

Not saying I’m out on him but Sirianni reminds me of an elementary school gym teacher. I have a tough time seeing grown men really relating to him. Time will tell and I hope I’m wrong.

He took over a 4-win team and might end his first season with more wins than any other head coach in this hiring cycle.  Even if he gets to 8 wins this season that's objectively a big improvement

Scientifically, accurate.

Did I hear that right?   5 weeks in a row hurts has the best qb rating among starters?

Sirianni is showing me a lot right now.  I don't think a power running game was the direction he wanted to go with this team, but he has decided that that's the only way to win with this roster, and it's working.   He has a big strong OL that can road grade... and he has a QB that's a much much better runner than a passer.  I think he took stock of where the team was after the Thursday game, gave it one more shot as a passing team against LV, and then turned on a dime to be a dominant running attack.

I don't think this is the direction he wants to go for the long term either (at least in terms of having the QB carry the ball so frequently), but right now he's doing what he needs to do to win games.   Similarly, I don't think that this is Gannon's preferred defensive scheme, but it's what works with limited talent on the defense, especially in the middle of the field.  Just keep everything in front of you and make the tackle... hope the opposition makes a mistake and can't string together a 10+ play drive consistently, or that they stall in the red zone.   And it has worked against sub-par NFL QBs.  It has failed miserably against the better QBs though.    I am looking forward to seeing what both do next year with (hopefully) better talent.

As for the overall W/L record... Sirianni is helped by the general weakness of this schedule.

Highest QBR through 5 weeks.

Off topic: I’ve been watching Seinfeld recently.  No denying it’s a funny show. But Seinfeld doesn’t make it so IMO I get my laughs from George and Elaine

One thing about Howie and Lurie -- they won't be swayed by what the national media or Twitter community thinks.  If they believe there's a QB available who can get them where they want to go, they'll pull the switch.  Depends if they believe Hurts makes the current offense go -- or limits it.

Hopefully they don't give away a bunch of draft capital to do it.

Jerry is the straight man. He has funny quips and one liners and it always made me laugh how bad of an actor he is. But he’s not supposed to be the funniest one, oddly enough

Yup.  George, Elaine, Kramer, and some great recurring characters like Frank, Newman, Putty ..  even Mr. Lippman, Mr. Kruger, the Parking Garage Guy and many others

A bit like Ray Romano -- they were brilliant enough to bring in Peter Boyle, Brad Garrett, and Doris Roberts

Just read that Reagor has 63 receiving yards in his last 8 games combined. That can't be right. If that's right, why TF is he active...

Punt and KO returns, I guess. Has some kind of speed threat on O, I guess. But sheesh....

I’ve started watching them over from the beginning. George is the one that makes me laugh the most. His father Jerry stiller is up there when they use him.

His humor is observational and he is mostly the detached observer. He does have some moments.
