I’d add their oline is also awful. It’s why they should’ve drafted darrisaw and not toney who had a great performance of 2 receptions for -2 yards. JJAW-ful like

The ACL injury from last year. He’s been really slow healing it for whatever reason

The Oline is still bad plus I'm sure the injury has some effect on him.

I was impressed with how NS switched things up.  Went hurry up on some drives and then slowed it down.   Went pass heavy on some drives and then featured the run.  Featured Kenny Gainwell on the 2 mid drill drive and avoid putting in the Jag.  

Also nice to see our defense get shredded for the first 2 drives then tighten up. Lack of adjustment has been a huge problem for us on both sides of the ball for awhile now.

Even before the injury their oline hinders what he can do. Again the giants continue to try patch work oline besides drafting Hernandez and Thomas. really neither one panned out so far. I think Daniel jones sucks but it doesn’t help him when their oline is so awful. They are gonna use the bears and their pick to get a QB wind up having a slight upgrade cause their oline is still gonna get the QB killed. Cause they seemed to think with golladay, Shepard and slayton they still needed toney

Absolutely... but he caught the ball clean, so I'm happy with that for now.   He should have been returning punts all last season... but it is what it is now.

 

He should be given time to work on that, until he makes a 'mistake' back there.   So far, he's fine.
