We used to do this in pee wee maybe once in high school.

Not sure what judge is hoping to accomplish by doing this?

Maybe get his players to hate him???

Some thoughts

Hurts seemed to play well today.

Were there downfield shots to take and he didnt do it? Or did he just execute a short passing game plan beautifully? It remains to be seen in the weeks ahead whether this is a week to week gameplan thing. Or if Hurts cant see the field, or doesnt have the poise to stay in the pocket to let those longer routes develop. Will teams begin to sit on the short stuff and shut this offense down? Or can we start going over the top of them?

With that said, and asked- If Hurts can look this well consistently and get these results there is no way we use any of those 1st  round picks on a QB. It will be really exciting if we can go in to the draft and add 3 first round talents to the team that we saw today.

Giants might get a top 10 pick from the bears

They may have 2.

Don't think it was, no....

The Oline is still bad plus I'm sure the injury has some effect on him.

I agree though I love Barkley and that says a lot coming from me because I hate Penn state and the giants lol

Barkley is a good dude.

It wouldn't surprise me if they call about Flacco or Minshew

Nick said they were taking away the deep ball so they played the underneath game because that is what they gave them.

It's a great thing to play like that and not need the deep ball

You'll learn.

Oh, I remember... at least now I do...

I couldnt understand why Barnett's sack was never showing up in the box score.

My mind is blown because I swear Ive seen people credited with sacks on that situation before many times over the years. I must have believed it so strongly I created memories of events that never existed.

He is I hear lots of great stories about him and how his dad raised him. He grew up about 40 min from me.

It is great. Nothing wrong with being able to dink and dunk and pick a D apart if you can really do it consistently. And if you can go over top if you need to.  So... thats good to hear from Nick. I need to see it to really bolster my belief in Hurts. Thats the next step for me.

Not much downfield.  Atlanta played mostly zone and we seemed to game-plan perfectly against it.  Only real limitations on the offense is the penalties.  Tons of pre snap penalties.  That’s understandable with a young coaching staff and starters who were limited in the preseason because of Lowie’s meddling.

I love Nick's response to the penalties nothing ground breaking but, showed he gets it.

Trading a QB to a division rival is rare enough. I don’t know if it ever actually happened in season.

Exactly

Hey i liked van jefferson coming out. Was told we didn’t need another slot receiver.  Just like the other jefferson lol

Yup.  Didn't like him until Round 4 though.  Surprised he went in Round 3.

Even better 2 scrubs having to learn a new offense in the middle of the season? Sign me up cause that would be a sheet show

The Rams defense is pretty good.

Did Cam and Ron Rivera get along? Could see that reunion tomorrow.

I doubt it would happen but I wouldn't be surprised if Skins call about it

Or are Bears that bad?

I didn’t hear or see it.  But I loved when he was flipping out in the game after one of those bs defensive holding calls.  He yelled at one ref, "when you’re done I want to talk to you over here” or something to that effect.

He said " you don't need talent to not make the mistakes that were made so there is no excuse it has to get cleaned up."

Didn't figure it would take too long.

I didn’t even think of that.  Yeah, that’s a good call.  He’s such an unlikable dude.  I have to imagine his act wearing thin.

I hope that dude in "I want the eagles to get" thread doesn't see this lol.

Oh yeah.  That’s one of his lines.  And was a point that was argued in here.  Improving at things that require no talent.   Which is the pre snap penalties and stuff.

Yes, he is a rah rah guy but, reels it in when he needs to and gets down to business on things like that.
