Counter point... Is Driscoll slow in coming off the double?

No. If Sanders takes the inside lane he can come off but when Sanders goes wide, the only player who can come off is Lane but that's not what he expected. They ran this play over and over with Howard later with Driscoll coming off the double team. I know what you're saying though. What it boils down to is Driscoll has to see the LB before he releases and he never does.

What do you see the dividing line being between Pro Bowler and Quality, and the dividing line being between Quality and Solid?

I’m not gonna get involved in this argument except to say anybody saying Brandon Graham is a pro bowl defensive end at this particular point in time is a fooling themselved. He’s coming off a torn Achilles at 33 years old. We don’t know what the heck he’s going to be next year. He might just be done at 34 coming off that injury or he might bounce back to being a good DE. In 2020 he was voted as a pro bowler but at this particular point in time we have no clue what he’s going to be.

Not an argument.  A discussion. A sharing of different perspectives.

Your point on Graham is valid.

Hardly.

Here's another bad one. This is the pop fly that Hurts threw after the INT.

Play action. The Eagles have three (3) guys blocking the Saints' LDE.

Goedert has already whiffed, as has Lane. Jackson isn't up to blocking Davenport while his teammates stand around. 11283241_2021-11-26(9).thumb.png.7bfb27e8a4f254ed35ff411fd7ed8200.png

And Hurts is hit as he throws. Lucky it fell incomplete.

I've never watched the whole movie but I caught on that Costner was trading 3 picks for something?

That's not from any movie. I believe that's from the tv show

Is that 7 blocking 5 or 7 blocking 4?

Either way bad blocking.

It's a movie.

Watching the saints game last night, they might have the worst collection of offensive skill talent in the league with Michael Thomas and kamara out. Even if Ingram and trautman were healthy it’s still awful. They have Calloway, smith, lil Humphrey, Tony jones and Ty Montgomery. Only team i can think has it as bad is the lions but they still have swift and Hockenson. The jets have corey davis, crowder, moore. The jags have robinson and marvin jones. Atlanta might be the closest right now with Patterson and Ridley out. But Pitts is still better than anything the saints threw out there last night.

Carson Strong is my guy in this class.  I wouldn’t mortgage anything for him…I’m not really supportive of going all in on any 21 year old and forcing their opportunity.

But late 1st and any time 2 or early 3…I like his tools.

I’ve watched a lot of Nevada this year, he has the best arm in the class, he’s accurate with really nice throwing mechanics. Two issues that will hold him up are his lack of mobility, teams like QB’s that can move around smoothly, and his medicals.  His last game should of been two weeks ago, unless there’s no way his knee can get any better by the draft, or further damage couldn’t be caused.

With Hurts at QB I'm not sure people realize how similar to the Ravens offense the Eagles are:

Ravens -- 316 rush attempts (Jackson 106 of those)

Eagles -- 338 rush attempts (Hurts 114 of those)

Rushing yards BAL -- Jackson 639 yards, Freeman 272, Murray 247

Rushing yards PHI -- Hurts 618 yards, Sanders 394, Howard 274

Passing yards per game BAL -- Jackson 272

Passing yards per game PHI -- Hurts 210

It's damn hard to find a WR group with this type of QB.  Since 2018 when Lamar Jackson was drafted the Ravens have also drafted at WR:

Jaleel Scott, Jordan Lasley (2018), Marquise Brown, Myles Boykin (2019), Devin Duvernay, James Proche (2020), Rashod Bateman, Tylan Wallace (2021).  Eight WR drafted in 4 years to pair with Lamar Jackson.  Hollywood Brown has over 2,000 career receiving yards so far; the other 7 guys have combined for less than 1,300 yards between them.  A lot of wasted resources spent at a position group that just doesn't see the ball a lot from Jackson.  The Ravens pass offense works best when they force-feed the ball to Mark Andrews at TE.

I said it yesterday; IMO Jackson is a more efficient and more prolific passer than Hurts -- at least to this point.  If the Ravens ample investment at WR has been mostly wasted to this point with Jackson, I'm not sure what drafting more WR will do for the Eagles.

Exactly right, Hurts is completing 12-13 a game since they started running. Smith and Goedert getting 9-10 of those, you can’t draft a WR high and hope he gets 3-4.

The best one is that NYG fan who was crying after the Eagles beat them in the playoffs, 2011 I think.  Then some guy comes in at the end and starts screaming at him "stfu, it's a f***ing game"

I'd post it but don't know how to.

It's Tanks-giving for the Cowboys. It symbolizes the annual meltdown of the team from media blown contender to sitting on the couch for the post-season.

This one had to have the NO DC's head spinning. Strong left, with a second TE lined up on the wing.
