I'm all in on Driscoll

I like him, but for all the winging about Dickerson being made of glass, Driscoll is the guy that seems to get knicked up often.

Just my perception as of right now:

McPhearson -- no, not yet

Epps -- no

Barnett -- hell no

Reagor -- yes, but even I'm growing impatient

Stoll/Jackson -- not sure, but I sure hope so.

Driscoll -- yes, I believe

Agree on McPherson, Barnett, and Reagor.

Epps as a third safety.

Definite yes on Stoll. Not yet on Jackson, tending toward no.

Driscoll is a nice player.

Letdown game.  Eagles flat, Giants hyped up to beat us.  Jones 3 TD passes

Yep.  Trying to find a silver lining... best I could find was grey.

Hurts is 0-4 in games he passes for more than 300

We‘re not that team anymore. The moment the opponents try their best to stop the run, Hurts will throw it with even more success. Just wait and see.

Cant see why we should Give reagor another year unless the draft board leaves us next to nothing. Find a mid rd slot guy

The best one is that NYG fan who was crying after the Eagles beat them in the playoffs, 2011 I think.  Then some guy comes in at the end and starts screaming at him "stfu, it's a f***ing game"

I'd post it but don't know how to.

That was legendary. I think it was after the game during the playoffs of the '08 season. The Giants were coming off their Super Bowl victory the year before and had been a stellar team all year long. Then Plexico shot himself and the wheels started to fall off a little. And then the Eagles beat them in the playoffs. And the dude lost it. It was hilarious.

But it's disturbing in a way that those SOBs won another Super Bowl a few years later with an even crappier team, so we know that that crybaby got to celebrate some more.

Thank God that 2017 happened.

As far as Barnett goes, he's the first round pick in 2017 and seen Goedert, Sweat, and Maddox from the 2018 class extended to second contracts while he still doesn't have one in place.  I wouldn't be surprised if both sides know he's headed to UFA and free to test the market in March

I suspect this could be the game Smith blows up. Giants are ripe for it

Here's a nice variation. It follows the OZ left, the RPO right, and a RO to the left - the last three plays.2144661289_2021-11-26(24).thumb.png.15d1792c827c424aba46a4abf2e61140.png

On the last play, Hurts pulled the ball and ran wide.

Cameron Jordan is set to cover the RB or the QB, if either goes wide. The rest of the OL has blocked down, except for Driscoll, who has pulled and has a bead on the OLB.

Sanders goes wide and freezes Jordan. Hurts goes straight up the gut, behind Driscoll. The DB covering Goedert has his back to the play.

Hurts is through the hole. Those guys won't catch him.

If Goedert could have blocked the DB Hurts would have scored. Tough block in the open field.

Down at the 4.

Think about the sequence. OZ. OZ converted to RPO the other way, RO going wide. RO right up the gut. How the hell do you stop that combination?

Someone has to win their matchup.  That's how.

Hard when you have 4 above-average players at OL.

@LeanMeanGM  Giants 31 Eagles 27

BONUS: Eagles D has no more than 1 sack + Elliott misses a FG

Single high man under thats how. Blitz a bunch.

the downside to this offense is that it usually only takes one negative play to kill a drive

I didn't say it wasn't... but that's how.  Someone has to win a 1 on 1, or split a double team.    It happens.

Except that they have optioned that guy out of the play - twice with Jordan, once with the DB covering Quez on the RPO. The only pure mano a mano was the OZ

Who said it had to be the one guy that the Eagles wanted to isolate?   You pointed it out on the play to Howard where the OC, RG, and RT all seemingly whiffed.  The defense one that matchup, didn't they?

I would rather say that the offense lost. They didn't block anybody due to their own ineptitude. That wasn't play design or one guy beating another.

Boston Scott scores yet another TD against the Giants.
