Hurts seemed to play well today.

Were there downfield shots to take and he didnt do it? Or did he just execute a short passing game plan beautifully? It remains to be seen in the weeks ahead whether this is a week to week gameplan thing. Or if Hurts cant see the field, or doesnt have the poise to stay in the pocket to let those longer routes develop. Will teams begin to sit on the short stuff and shut this offense down? With that said, and asked- If Hurts can look this well consistently and get these results there is no way we use any of those 1st  round picks on a QB. It will be really exciting if we can go in to the draft and add 3 first round talents to the team that we saw today.

Saw that on Twitter during the game. I thought Sirianni fell a little too in love with the WR screen game, but it was mostly working. Honestly, that might be in Hurts’ best interest to run a handful of those each game.

The only concern with today, is the short game gonna get figured out, like Doug, and are we going to be able to push the ball down the field to compensate when teams shrink the field.

the ones to watkins worked on the 1st drive.

the ones to reagor sucked.  Until he scored the TD.

It would have been real nice to hit that 1 to Quez. Just 1 would have been nice. Id have felt a bit better.

I saw it as he went with it till they stopped it. They switched gears once they stopped it a couple of times then came back to it later I thought they thought it out well.

coulda been the timing of the call. could have been the play design. could have been the guy carrying the ball.

Was there any possibility that the Eagles could have kept Marquise Goodwin for this year or was that trade cancelled?  I'm confused with how that all worked out.  Appears he would be a better 4th WR here than Ward.

I would have liked to see a deep shot. I do think he made consistently good decisions. What can’t be understated is the fact that he was accurate with short throws and it led to big gains. They had 2 big gains on the screens to Goedert and Sanders. How many times have we seen Wentz miss those throws in the last 2+ seasons.  His TD pass to Goedert was a big time throw. 

Hurts may not have time to wait for the deep ball to be there next week. I'm fine with him taking whatever is there as long as he doesn't force it and mess up

That contract was voided because he never played

Besides, Goodwin was redundant to Watkins and Hightower.
