 I like our chances with Boston Scott in the backfield.

Good post except this part through me off.  What's wrong with Miles Sanders?

Boston is an assassin Vs the GMen, that's why I mentioned him specifically.  Miles is just fine.  He knocked off a lot of rust last game and still put up 95 yards.   Running game should still be rolling.    This game for me is how the guys handle success.   They dug out of 2-5 hole (Worst start since 99) and are in place to make the Playoff seeding.   So now that they've been playing well they need to avoid a letdown and keep moving forward.

This might work out. Let's give them Howie 😂

I’d prefer not to see them win a SB again any time soon.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Imagine the euphoric feeling we will all share when we see a tweet saying the Eagles are making a huge move by cutting ties with Howie Roseman.....ugh I can dream.

I couldn’t possibly disagree more. That 2-point conversion ending is a disgrace.

I agree going straight to just 2pt conversions is a stupid way to decide a game.

in what way?

I've got no issue with a tie either.  It happens.

As for the FGs in overtime not as annoying as a tie but definitely less worse than just two point conversions to win it.

As mediocre as Franklin is as a head coach, the contract is totally in his favor. If he leaves, he only has a 2 million dollar buyout which then drops to 1 million in 2026. If he is fired without cause he gets whatever he is owed on his contract. He also gets a 1 million dollar per year like insurance policy. He also gets a $500,000 per year retention bonus.

PSU had all the leverage. They should have made him work on his existing contract and if he didn't like it he could have quit with minimal monetary loss on PSU's end.

I'm not impressed by Franklin. He's not awful but he doesn't seem likely to challenge the OSU-Michigan-Michigan State dominance either.

Yep. Better them than the Eagles.

Birds minus 4 feels like a good bet

I understand they wanted to get away from those 7 overtime games (starting at the 25), but there has to be a better way.

Maybe have the rule that you have to go for 2 starting in the 1st overtime?

Not all share that sentiment.

I don't have a ton of confidence in our D yet against a good offense, but the Giants do not have a good offense.  Meanwhile we just put up 40 points on the best run D in the league about to go against the 19th.

I'd be all over that line.

While interesting, replacing snaps of an LT has a much higher future cost implications than replacing snaps of an LB, or slot corner.  I'd be interested to see this chart if they weighted the snaps based on average replacement cost.

Obviously is only a snapshot of right now too. I guarantee we will have worked with more money than this after all is said and done.

Or just quality of the FA player. Our "key FAs” are Barnett, Harris, McLeod, Means.

The Bucs having Vea back would great.

I mean most of our secondary, Graham, Kelce, Barnett, Ridgeway and a bunch of others are FAs so it's not like we're without some important roles to fill. But yeah I'm not too stressed about their off season cap situation.

I almost feel bad for the Saints

Almost but not quite

Ah, eff the Saints

So the VaGiants are out some WRs on O.  Not that their O had much bite to begin with and I don't consider Danny Dimes one of those elite tier QBs who can shread our D so I'm not worried about the match up on that side of the ball.  Losing Howard is going to hurt in the run game, at least a bit.  His straight forward hit the hole style was a good fit for our ground scheme.  Hopefully Scott does what he usually does vs the VGs and Sanders doesn't have any brain farts today.  These NFC East games are usually rough and tough and sometimes it comes down to which team just wants it more.  Without getting into stat breakdowns of how each team's Os and Ds rank, I'm just going to make a prediction for this game.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 27

VaGiants 20

Bonus:  Eagles keep their 175+ rushing yards/game streak going.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 38

Giants 10

We have a good Rush D and they have no WRs. We spread the ball out to open the run, and Goedert gets 2 TDs with a good game in the middle of the field, Smith with 1.
