I’m not a Hurts hater at all. Didn’t like the pick at the time. But it would be in our best interest for him to succeed. 
 

That said, he has 77 yards rushing and 73 yards passing with 3 INTs. He’s just not a viable starting QB. Period. You don’t win consistently in the NFL like this. We need to put Minshew in to see if there’s anything there. It’s time. The experiment is over. And please don’t cite last week as evidence to the contrary. He was our fourth RB last week. Against Trevor Siemien. Time to move on

Because even though Hurts isn’t closing the door on the job long term, it’s a flat out lock that Minshew isn’t the future of the franchise.

They know that.

You get what you get with him, but his throwing today has been largely dreadful and that is what he is paid to do.
