No but if they continue with playing like trash in the next few weeks then yes. It's one game

September 13, 20214 yr I assume the Eagles will do that temporary PS elevation of a PS safety if Epps does not pass concussion protocol?

It's one game I tend to think they turn it around and still win that division. Largely cause the division stinks. But i still think that dysfunction is going to prevent them from being where they were last year nfc north all are 0-1. Nfc west all 1-0.

We were getting gashed on the ground and the adjustment to stack the box was likely coming...but our offense strung together some long drives, built a lead, forced the Falcons into more passing situations, and really allowed the D to keep doing their thing. It might have been a different story without the offense pitching in there. Same thing will go for the SF game. If the offense can keep pace, Mostert may have a bit less opportunity. Rams defense did the same thing tonight. They were content with Montgomery getting his in exchange for Dalton trying to keep up. Works great when your offense is putting up 28+. But only with that.
September 13, 20214 yr Nick Soriani seems like an awkward dude who likes teaching football way more than he likes being an NFL head coach. Hats off to the players and to him being ready for week 1 against a team also trying to compete for its identity. They won by 26 despite some coaching mistakes which are really rooted on his confidence. We have some talent on both sides, this is a quarterback driven season

This speaks to that. lol Since every play is an RPO, maybe the play designer has sense enough not to design routes that draw extra defenders toward the running lanes. Nah ... Hurts just can't throw passes perpendicular to the LOS. That makes more sense ...

We have some talent on both sides, this is a quarterback driven season When they were doing a coaching search one of the reasons why I didn’t want Josh McDaniels And wanted Sirianni was because I thought Sirianni was more of a teacher (still believe mcdaniels is living off Tom Brady’s success with him. I’m curious to see how mac jones progeesses this year). They needed someone that could relate to the younger players and teach them. I think his biggest asset to the current team is that he’s going to be able to get the younger players better than what happened under doug. That is not a knock on doug but I think he’s more of a coach that if your team is ready to be a contender he’s the guy for the job. That said I also think doug, groh and press really didn’t utilize guys to the best of their abilities. I’ve ****ed about that since 2018. I also think their concepts just got stale. The other thing I like about Sirianni is he seems to understand when something is working you keep going to that well until they stop you. Today’s game plan was smart. You knew the Atlanta Falcons had the worst pass defense in the league. So you attack them in the air to get out to an early lead and down the stretch you start incorporating the running game more when they are tired and Begin picking up chunk yards. When Doug was here over the past couple years there were some game plans where I sat here and people on this blog saying what are we doing And what is this game plan against our opponent. At times it didn’t make sense. It was like he was stubborn at times and wanted to win his way and not the way you have to do that particular opponent.i think you’ll see sirianni game plan change week to week. This week it was pass happy early with short to intermediate passes. i think next week it might be completely opposite. sirianni is going to have growing pains over this season. He is a rookie head coach and i expect those to come. But i have confidence he’s going to learn from it and get better from it. He seems to be the type of guy who uses every experience as a learning tool to improve himself and his team. I truly believe his coaching isn’t going to be the major reason if this team doesn’t find success. I think Sirianni in the beginning was trying too hard to get us to like him or believe he was the guy to do this job. So he was very out there were some of the things he said so we’d accept him. He didn’t have to do that. if every Sunday he goes out there has a smart gameplan and his team is busting it out there the fans will believe in him and accept him. I don’t doubt for a second he loves the game of football and is a smart guy. I thought that before they hired and when I watch the videos with a Colts. I think it’s been way more comfortable since the start of training camp till now as compared to earlier in the off-season. I don’t think in front of the podium is where he’s going to impress you. I do think with time he’ll get better at it.
September 13, 20214 yr A lot of things to be positive about after Week 1: Scored 30+ points for the first time since 2019 4 TDs and 1 FG means the offense was just as efficient in the red zone Solid defensive effort at all 3 levels; not allowing a play of over 20 yards was almost unheard of in the Schwartz defense. JS was good at keeping teams under 30, but they bent a lot No serious injuries that I’m aware of (?) NYG lost at home, WAS lost at home (and their starting QB); DAL looked like DAL
September 13, 20214 yr OT Watching "My 600lb Life" right now. Am I supposed to feel sorry for them, or just disgusted? I think people like this should be stared at and ridiculed. It shouldn't be socially acceptable. AITA?

September 13, 20214 yr Was a little worried at first with the run defense. But in the end they clamped down in the redzone and only gave up FGs. That's all that matters, just keeping them out of the endzone.

I live in an area where it is multiple small towns with populations of 4,000 being the highest. The warehouse packs the trucks here as well because they have openings for order picker to load the trucks. They do have outside agencies that run for them but, they also hire directly as well. I actually put an application for the FedEx delivery driver that I applied for right off their website and I also applied for another company that does what you described. I'm just getting a feel for what I want to do. My company has lost their minds with how they are handling things and making things worse and we are getting torn apart by customers and new employees and corporate caters to then and do not defend us anymore when we get trashed by customers and new employees. I'm just done with it, especially after last year, then to get BS this year after all the work we did to keep the ship a float. Sounds like a better situation where you are. That's how they did it at the facility that serves most of South Jersey. Think there's a smaller one that does the shore areas. The one in Barrington covered at least 5 counties and there's townships with 60K people where your area sounds like little towns spread out so maybe they need to do it differently. Sorry to hear your grocery company isn't treating you well. Retail can be a real pain in the ass. Good luck to you.

Titans and Cardinals seemed like two similar teams, similar to Texans and Jags. I figured Texans best chance of winning a game this year would be vs Jax. Both those games seemed like they could go either way. Unlike Seattle/Colts where to me Seattle was a strong favorite.

Like last year they smoked the Buffalo bills and looked amazing. Then they faced the colts get obliterated. Then beat the Colts easily the next time. Then got obliterated on defense against the browns. I kind of think vrabel is overrated as a coach. He’s supposed to be a defensive guy and his defense has been bad the last two years.
September 13, 20214 yr Am I the only one who doesn’t like the 3-4 looks? Graham at the 5 tech. Kerrigan played some 5 technique. They were getting gashed out of that. I agree that Gannon was more concerned with defending the pass, which we saw the Rams do tonight too, but it seems like a weird, unnecessary misuse of personnel. I thought Atlanta was gonna be on their way to 200+ on the ground.

I’d credit play design and Hurts mobility for the lack of sacks given up. Lane Johnson did not have a good game. They were sloppy yesterday but they also protected well and mauled the Atl DL. Y The sloppy play will clean up.

For obvious reasons they pay better and have a better reputation as a delivery service and as an employer. I don't know if you have them but, there is FedEx and UPS warehouses under contract with Amazon as well. Amazon is the devil I won't work for them lol. People thought Walmart was bad.... Amazon makes Walmart look like a Forbes top 50 places to work for. Yeah it's just what ever with where I worked. Some nonsense went down and I feel like I wasted 15 yrs there. Infuriating but , I'm kind of glad, gave me the kick in the ass to go to something else with more growth opportunity. Also thank for the good luck man.

September 13, 20214 yr I was thinking about this and maybe I'm alone, but Hurts reminded me a bit of young Dak yesterday. Just a bit. The way he too would "Dink and Dak" down the field until he needed to start pushing it down the field a bit later in his career. Now Hurts played great in basically every way yesterday. That's encouraging. He made some fantastic throws. Having said that, the dinking to the right is eventually going to get taken away and he will need to start spreading the ball and hitting the middle of the field as well. We'll cross that bridge when we get there though. Nice game yesterday.
