Bryce isn't anything like Hurts. He's not a running QB. He uses his mobility to move around in the pocket to make accurate throws. He's outstanding.

This whole conversation reminds me of the 2008 NFCCG.  McNabb doesn't show up in the first half, but goes off in the second. 

Playing well at the end doesn't absolve the mistakes made earlier.  Despite the heroics of Good Hurts, we lost this game because of Bad Hurts,

Ironically, that was the argument for ignoring Reagor's senior season.  His QB sucked.

 

Reagor should have had them but Hurts is an idiot for trusting him with the game on the line. One time...ok...going right back to him??? On top of all the other mistakes I put that on him.

How so? Now granted I'm a Bama alum but he's great. He has mobility. But instead of playing RB he uses that mobility to avoid pressure in the pocket. And delivers darts to his receivers. He's probably gonna win the Heisman. He didn't have a great game yesterday but he still led his team on a 98 yards drive with a minute and some change left with zero timeouts to send it to ot.

I remember that. Smith still looks great when targeted though. When Reagor's number is called he ends up failing. Maybe he just hasn't clicked with Hurts. I don't know
