Weird, NFL caliber players are saying the same thing a handful of us have been saying since last year.

Hmm.

JFC.  Give me a break.  He’s another gadget running college QB.  We have one of those.  Ridiculous take.

How is he a "gadget" running QB? He doesn't run! He had mobility but he stays in the pocket and throws. Ridiculous take.

The fact that Hurts wasnt benched today tells me he's starting the rest of the season come hell or high water

Completely pointless to bring in Minshew if we're just pissing away this season

I think we are watching 2 different feeds when they play then. Unless it’s bama vs sister Mary’s school for the blind technical institute.

I watch every bama game. He is not a running QB.

Yep...think we are two of the most consistent

Reagor should have had them but Hurts is an idiot for trusting him with the game on the line. One time...ok...going right back to him??? On top of all the other mistakes I put that on him.

That even I agree with. It‘s his style of Leadership, but with the game on the line it was a bad choice.

How so? Now granted I'm a Bama alum but he's great. He has mobility. But instead of playing RB he uses that mobility to avoid pressure in the pocket. And delivers darts to his receivers. He's probably gonna win the Heisman. He didn't have a great game yesterday but he still led his team on a 98 yards drive with a minute and some change left with zero timeouts to send it to ot.

He finishes no higher than 4th in the Heisman, if he even gets invited. He’s half the reason Bama has struggled this year, the D being uncharacteristically soft doesn’t help either.

Minshew is here in case Hurts gets hurt.

So no, it is not pointless.

69 percent completion. 40 TD throws to 4 int. But yeah he's a "running QB. Lmao

Young can throw. He passes before he thinks about running

Honestly, they didn't make the eagles do anything. The eagles decided not to run the damn ball despite every attempt going for like 5+ yards. If they ran with the gameplan from the last 4 weeks we would have won. Hurts doesn't throw 3 picks and we don't have to rely on him to win the game with minute left

He thinks the guy with 40 TD tosses to 4 int with a 70 percent completion percentage is a running QB. Lmao

Minshew should still be on the team next year.

Like someone mentioned earlier, they need to have a QB competition between Minshew and Hurts.

Flacco was the #2 when we brought in Minshew, so no

Minshew should be  our starter right now, hes better than Hurta

Putting Jalen bashing aside, we only had 1 sack against an awful O line. Defense played ok as a whole but we are getting nothing from our ends all year. This scheme sucks.

Did I ever say he’s a running qb?

Yeah I agree there. It didn't feel like the DL got much pressure all game.

If Hurt and Minshew are both here next year there will ne no competition.  It will be in name only

Don't you want to rely on your QB to win the game though?

I watch a lot of SEC football. The wife is a Tennessee alum. He's far from a running qb. Idk how I feel about drafting him just yet. I'd like to see him stay in college 2 more years

We held them to 13 points. After 3 interceptions. This isn't on the D.

Yup, maybe it's better it ended this way to open eyes

Or the scheme lacks the talent to perform at its optimum.  When your 3rd DE is Ryan Kerrigan who has barely registered a stat all season and your big FA LB has been released, it says a lot.

Gannon can and should do better, but the talent level is not good.

For starters, and it has nothing to do with his ability, he's a twig.  I know a lot of us go back and forth on Smith being slight for an NFL WR but Young is listed as 6' 195...that tells me he's probably 5-11 185-190.  He's not build to be an NFL quarterback.  I also think that while his weapons haven't been on the same level as Hurts, Tua or Mac that he benefits from a supremely talented Alabama roster.

Jameson Williams is a 1st round WR. John Metchie could as well but probably more of a 2nd round talent.  Slade Bolden has all the tools to be a NE Patriot for 10 years.

Young is a great college quarterback.  He's fun to watch.  I don't know what he will be in the NFL but he's not a starter for sure.
