Doesnt matter much now. But I would really love it if someone had a replay of that incomplete screen pass the Giants threw, that we recovered.

I swear that would have been a backwards pass/fumble and was never reviewed. Maybe coulda been the break we needed in the game.

So your argument is that an interception is the same value as a touchdown in the opposite direction?

Those don’t count. All QBs have dropped interceptions.

This is about the worst take I’ve read on this board in years.

Hurts completed ONE pass the entire 2nd half before the final drive.  Hurts could not see his WR1 waving his arm because he has almost 10 yards on his DB to win the game, and instead Hurts floats a ball up to the middle of the field.

Good thing for you, and Hurts, that Reagor came up small.  Hurts cannot win in this league if he has to use his passing arm.  Receivers come and go, but having a QB who is either pedestrian (best case scenario) or inept throwing the football is what really matters.

Hurts was bad today. No question.

However, he played his best football with the game on the line. That's what you want from your QB.

Reagor had the same opportunity...and came up small.

Whoa you mean he’d be 19 for 31 and 175? Dominance

He should have had four TDs. This should‘ve been an easy win.

The joke?  Errrrr, okay.

You do you, and, have a nice evening 👍. I don't know what else to say here

Can’t see this happening

Oklahoma has targeted Kliff Kingsbury as a Lincoln Riley replacement, per @AdamSchefter

The Cardinals are currently the #1 seed in the NFC

All receivers have dropped passes as well. So I guess none of it counts and all goes back on Hurts again.

Schefter's just getting used to get Kliff paid by the Cards.

Should've,  could've, would've. What he did do was suck again and throw 3 ints including 2 in the redzone. What he is is trash

No. I don’t want my QB playing like dog ish for 58 mins and then completing 5 yard passes because the D is giving it to him.

100%

He needs to stay in school and progress. While not a running back like Hurts he has trouble reading the field and takes horrible sacks. He’s a guy you can win with now in a college environment.

Yes I would like him to stay in college 2 more years

It‘s a team game. Hurts is putting it on his shoulders running for first downs when nothing is there, but there is only so much one guy can do.

Of course.

But all QBs play bad! The very good ones step up late.

I'm happy to have Riley

Hurts is running for first downs because he can't throw reliably.

I said it with my first post in todays game thread, that it was worried that the coaching staff would try to be too clever and get away from what has worked the past few weeks, and that’s what they did. I’m neither a jalen hurts apologists nor a hater, I think he’s got massive up side when running the ball, but we went away from it and we saw the results. Jalen hurts can throw the football but only to a point. I’m also confused as to why Dallas Goedert was not used more today because he’s a good player and compared to reagor could have caught the ball.

What annoys me the most is how we made things way more difficult then they should’ve have been.

Dude, he threw 2 red zone INTs and both were terrible throws.  If he doesn't male those 2 terrible throws the game is different and the last drive just needs to be a FG to win

Look. Sit down tomorrow and watch the highlights. Take a piece of paper and a pen and mark a + for every throw that should‘ve been caught or was caught and a - for each bad throw. Then we talk again.

I don't need to go back and watch. I'm sure I will but I don't need to. Hurts is not the guy. I think we've seen enough at this point to know that.

Bryce Young isn't anything close to a running QB. He's almost strictly a passing QB. When he moves, he does a really good job of keeping his eyes downfield and making good throws. He'll be one of the best QBs, maybe the best QB, in 2023's draft class. Calling him a gadget QB shows you haven't actually watched him play.
