Fletcher Cox needs to be shipped out next offseason if possible. That tank is empty.

Draft Leal or Davis to replace him.

Draft a DE with one of the other 1sts.

It's a start.

Hamilton

Leal

so Im watching the qbs from other games, and Im thinking on most all their throws, that hurts cant make this throw or that throw

We gave up 13 points today despite the offense having 4 turnovers.

Technically 6 turnovers. We turnover on downs twice.

But it is also the Giants who are ranked 26th in offensive points scored.

defense has only impressed me once this season against the Lions who are 31st in points and winless so thats not saying much.

33 runs but 100 yards in the third quarter. It still needs some context bud.

That doesn’t add context to what we are discussing

Context? How about we were behind because of hurts interceptions?

Yes we are behind but we weren't in a huge hole. For a long time we were down by 3 and then by 10.

He was mentioned by name as having a poor game by the nbc sport Philadelphia post game show as they had a live shot of the team waking into the locker room.

Easily left 6 points on the board

What I'm saying is this game didn't feel like it ever had a chance. At times it felt too pass heavy, at other times there was a whole lot of running. The numbers ended up being pretty balanced but I think in previous weeks the balance was much better.

Thats only makes hurts look worse…you realize that right?

I'm not defending Hurts here though. Not for a second. I've already said i put about 80% of today on him.

I felt like we‘d just drive down for the win before Scott fumbled it.

Draft Nakobe Dean with one of the 1’s real talk I love Jordan Davis but Dean is the truth.

Did you? Well good for you. The reality is against a decent offense we would have been way behind at that point in the game. This team wasn't a Scott fumble away from a win. Just like the Reagor drops which cost us were not the true story of this game.

Tired of this excuse. Sirianni has given him the best running game in the league the past month and he’s still regressing. A good running game is supposed to help a QB, not hurt him. And we’ve seen the latter from Hurts. And at some point in the absolute golden age of throwing the football, you need your QB to make some big time throws.

The fact that people defending Hurts are complaining that they’re not running the ball more should already answer your question if he’s the guy or not. A franchise QB doesn’t need an offense where they’re running the ball 55-60% of the time.

Insinuating that the Eagles should get him because he plays for Alabama, makes you a homer.

No. Hurts was a Bama QB. Didn't want him. I'd be happy with Corral and I hate Ole Piss. I want Bryce Young because he's a good QB. I was mocked for wanting Mac Jones too. Oops.

Those don’t count. All QBs have dropped interceptions.

Turnover worthy play... or so Ive been told.

But that‘s the point. Wasn‘t just one really big f—up that cost us the game. It was a combination of like a dozen of them.

Getting rid of the Wiz was indicative of where we are. Putting durable free agents in a position to succeed is where it's at. We're not there.

So your argument is that an interception is the same value as a touchdown in the opposite direction?

Nope.

@MeccaDon123 what was your favorite throw from Hurts today? Mine was the int he threw with 8 seconds left in the half inside the 5 yard line

Woah woah woah I am not defending Hurts not at all. He isn't good enough. I think we've seen that today and in fact I think we've seen that this year. When he's asked to throw more he can't do it. When he's able to keep it in the ground that helps and works but that isn't going to win you football games year in and year out.

Yes that was one of the F ups. But so were Hurts 3 INTs. So were his misses. So were his missing of open guys.

Here's a Reub stat.  Over the last 7 games, the Eagles D-Line has 8 sacks.  6 of them came against the winless Lions and 1 came today when Jones took a knee to Hargrave rather than stopping the clock.

Such an overrated position group.

The Eagles DL has been competent, but overrated for years.  They mostly get the job done, but they don’t scare anyone (not many DLs do these days) and aren’t persistently disruptive (again, not too many are).

The previous weeks was just run every time. The Broncos game they only attempted 3 passes in the entire second half. I think situationally you can question Siriannis game calls but overall the philosophy was fine. He didn’t revert back to bombs away like the first half of the season.
