If you ignore the multiple off target throws that had no business being caught, the off target throws that Smith and Watkins made circus catches on, the bad throw that almost got Scott killed, the multiple interceptions, the multiple throws that should've been picked and the Reagor drops...

Hurts would've been a solid 3/6

Hurts struggled the first half, awful play at half-time, bad interception in double coverage. But he also threw a lot of perfect passes that gave his WRs a chance, Watkins, nope, Reagor 3 times nope, Goedert nope. And what really stands out is on the 3rd down slants, where is the reliable Avant type WR who uses his body to gain position and has the hands to snatch the ball for a first down - which is why I hate the obsession with 40 times - a game like this shows the value of a clutch possession receiver. Teams are going to double Smith until someone else steps up. Funny thing, Sirianni calls these one read plays to help Hurts, but he looked better at the end of the game in the pocket, surveying the field. But even then, he needs pass blocking, the drive before died because Kelce and Dickerson missed pass blocks on consecutive plays.

The thing that stood out was mental toughness, driving the ball down field, Scott fumbles, driving the ball downfield, Goedert drop, Reagor drop, Reagor drop. Hurts made the throws with the game on the line that would have won the game. Even on a day he was struggling, Hurts made big plays when they counted, even that first half drive, two killer holding calls.

But that's life with a rebuilding team. The defense stopped the Giants except when it counted - because they lack the athletes to make plays. You can't blame Gannon when he doesn't have a dominant pass rusher, blitzer, safety . . .

Here's a Reub stat.  Over the last 7 games, the Eagles D-Line has 8 sacks.  6 of them came against the winless Lions and 1 came today when Jones took a knee to Hargrave rather than stopping the clock.

Such an overrated position group.

Extremely concerning. This team still has a bunch of needs on defense... DE, DT, S, LB, CB. Every damn position

The defense gave up 13 points on the road and got the ball back after the Scott fumble to once again give them a chance to win.

What the F are you talking about?

Now you cretins are getting it.

He had 3 turnovers without counting the drops.  It was a really bad game.  Hopefully this performance will slow folks down from all this playoff talk and win out nonsense.  This team isnt ready for a win out run, even against the dregs of the NFL.

Which one is the clown and which one is the monkey between RTK and Infam?

Deebo Samuel is an awesome player. Love watching him play.

RTK is the clown.

You're free to imagine anyone as any character lol

"Hurts made plays in the end"

That moron put us in that position in the first place with his garbage QB play.

I’m not sure this team is ready to be above .500

Fletcher Cox needs to be shipped out next offseason if possible. That tank is empty.

Draft Leal or Davis to replace him.

Draft a DE with one of the other 1sts.

It's a start.

I wonder what they were offered this past deadline. Apparently there were serious bidders and Howie wanted more than what Von Miller went for, which were 2nd and 3rd round picks this year. I would've taken that at this point, I would've tried for a 2nd this year and 2nd in 2023, but would have settled for the Von deal. I doubt he's worth much more than that plus he costs a ton. Howie probably  wanted a 1 plus

Both of them are Simple Jack

Is Von Miller or OBJ playing?

I want to know what the Giants did to take Goedert and Smitty completely out of the game and still make Siri want to pass. Seems like chloroform for this offense…

Brah wtf? F Georgia

Justin Herbert is incredible. Wish he played in a more functional offense.

ND hasn't beaten anyone worth bragging about. I think it'll end up:

Georgia

Bama

Michigan

Cincinnati

The Giants know that Smith and Goedert are Hurts' favorite targets.  So they did a good job of taking them away.

That's why you saw a ton of passes to Reagor.  The Giants, correctly so, weren't afraid of him.

Did they or was Hurts just not targeting them?

The only one I noticed was the last one where Smith was wide open and Hurts threw to Reagor
