We need Indy and Miami to lose every game from here on out.

I hope but it doesn’t look very likely. Miami has vs. giants, vs. jets, at NO, at titans and vs. NE. I wouldn’t be all that surprised if they went 3-2. There’s a small shot at 4-1 with how they are currently playing and the titans being banged up. Colts have at Houston, vs. New England, at Arizona, vs. Vegas and at jags. Kind of think the colts go 9-8 and dolphins 8-9.

I haven't been posting much, just trying to assess this team without all the "noise"...  first, I have to say that I've been pretty impressed with the improvement both Sirianni and Gannon have shown the last several weeks...  as for Hurts, unless he shows some very serious improvement from the pocket over the next five games, you have to take a serious look at finding the next QB...  which brings us to the second problem...  Howie Roseman...  this next draft is a nearly unprecedented opportunity to quickly turn this team around...  I simply do not trust him at all...

Agreed.  I'm just about ready to accept the fact that we need to find a QB again.

The QB I would be most interested in via trade....Derek Carr

Miami is playing pretty good right now. Tua was over 80% yesterday. I wouldn't count on them being a top 10 pick anymore.

I’ll throw another Dark horse, UCLA with Chip.  Thompson is a senior and if Chip has gotten past believing he invented football, Rattler would be perfect.
Depending on how the season goes for Kingsbury, he should be a sleeper for the Oklahoma job.

I've seen Kingsbury tossed around a few times as potentially going back to college.....but why would he? He got his QB in Murray, he has his team playing as good as any in the league right now, it just doesn't make any sense for him to go back to college now. In 3-4 years, maybe....but not now.

I like Carr more than most, but I think with Gruden getting fired he stays in LV

You're getting Jimmy G and you're going to like it

I think they win but I wouldn't touch an Eagles -7 road line with anyone's money, let alone mine.

Daily reminder, don't pay RB's

He's got a year left on his deal. He's gonna either bleed the Cardinals or Sooners dry as he damn well should.

Minshew isn't the answer to anything...  "play the other guy" has been around as long as the NFL...

Plus, and I would guarantee this so strongly that I almost hope they do play Minshew so I can be proven right...  you take Hurts out, and the ground game won't look remotely as good as it has...  he may be ineffective in the pocket, stare down receivers, etc, etc... but he makes the entire running game go with the D having to pay so much attention to him...

Minshew, at this point in their respective careers, is inarguably the better QB and certainly the better passer

I never said what I said about Flacco.  But Minshew is different.  Hes young and was very productive on a very bad team.

Im intrigued.  Intrigued enough to sit Hurts and see if Minshew can take another step.   This is information that I feel we have to know going into the offseason.

If Minshew can play well enough to buy us another year, then just that potential alleviates a ton of pressure and makes the draft strategy much more clear. It gives us another potential option to consider, at the least

The WORST case scenario is burning the rest of these games on a QB we all know isnt the answer.

And my last piece of justification is simple:. Why the hell not?   What do we have to lose?

Yea, not yet.  He's got it made in AZ right now.  Keim is an excellent GM, he's in a warm climate with the QB he wanted.  They are going to build a very good team down there.  If he flames out or Murray becomes a flash in the pan guy then yea, Kingsbury will have his choice of school.

Saban has to retire sometime....

Wentz has a big arm, his problem was that he tried too many times to play hero ball, turns out it looks like it was Doug not Carson.

The injuries are still concerning but he's played through them this year.

Could’ve and Should’ve been fixed. Why do you think Reich was all in on the trade?
Now think how bad our Oline was beat up last year and that Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward were what we provided for Receivers.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the Cardinals are known for paying big money to coaches.

He won’t. He’s got a good team and he doesn’t have to do recruiting in the current circus that is the NCAA. Plus the cardinals are set up to be competitive for the next couple years. I actually think Oklahoma would be smart to try and get Luke fickell out of Cincinnati.

A QB named Pickett

A K named Blewitt

with a Coach named Fickell would be an all time team

more money and less stress.

Going back to coach a school like Oklahoma would be more stress than coaching the Cardinals.

Sounds silly but someone is going to give Deion Sanders a power 5 job sooner than later.  He's a name to watch.

He was **** on way to early in his career, Tua’s first OC in the NFL was Chan Gailey, out of retirement.  Miami’s O- Line since Tua has been there is almost record breaking awful and add in the hip injury which was just as bad as Bo Jackson’s, and he probably shouldn’t have even played last season with the Covid mess.  I’ve dislocated my shoulder twice and cried like a little girl, I couldn’t imagine what a dislocated hip feels like.

following the footsteps of what stoops and then Riley did isn’t going to be easy. If he doesn’t live up to those lofty accomplishments that fan base will roast him. Cardinals he has murray which is going to allow him to have success for the next couple of years.

The ball didn't bounce off his face, the pick was taken as the ball was arriving, it was DPI as he attempted to tackle reagor before the ball arrived not too mention turning reagors body.

One can hate reagor and still admit it was non called DPI the two aren't exclusive.

A better receiver probably fights through the illegal contact and still makes the catch but it it was it is.

Yes, it did.  Watch the replay.

Their defense has also played well over the last 5 games. Giving up just 14.4 points. That likely continues with the giants and jets on the horizon.

I don't really think it's that silly. He'll be a hell of a recruiter which is half the game in college. If he surrounds himself with a good staff, he can succeed. That's basically the role Herm Edwards is playing at ASU. Herm's not a great coach but he can recruit.

That's not silly at all. Might even happen this year
