Well, that's one angle, but the reasons people are calling for Hurts benching are all over the place.

And all can be valid. Not mutually exclusive.

the real question is why anyone would want to see more of him?

The picture of his eyes closed is from the last play of the game.

The bottom pic he has his eyes closed which was the bomb he was interfered on.

The top pic at the goal line was the last drop of the game, not sure he had his eyes closed on that one, if so maybe get that dude some scotch tape.

I don't know the decision makers motivations for it.

But, if I had to make an educated guess, I'd say that it's a huge decision (not one that gets made like emotional taters) and they want to see him in as many situations as possible this year so that they have as much data as possible when it's time to make it.

That's typically how major personnel decisions go.

Ive watched the replay about ten times, the DB wraps both his arms around reagors waist before the ball gets there and a tialky turns reagors body.

If the pic posted is after the ball bounced off his face then the pic is also the trail end of the DB making contact not the beginning.

Take it a few frames back and both arms are wrapped around reagor before the ball gets there

Like I said should have been an easy DPI and reagor should have still caught the ball, probably helps as stated if he keeps his eyes open.

Can't believe he had his eyes closed, maybe he needs to get some if what ever mike singletary took before games, that'll get his eyes open.

The refs have been disgusting all game.

I feel like I am saying that after many games this season, even after wins.

Yup the more that goes by the more it looks like Reich was a bigger reason for super bowl than pederson.

Just think - Roseman/Lurie wanted to can Reich prior to the SB run.

I feel like because of Reagors drop at the end this play isn't getting paid any attention to.

Hurts has a beautiful pocket with no signs of pressure

Throws it into double coverage

and somehow its not picked.

At least there were only six penalties - I feel like most games have double that, which is a bit much.

Yea, you are right, I was wrong. I didn't realize he jumped on that first one.

There were a few almost picks in that game

Yup been plenty of games this year where eagles players haven't got the benefit of doubt from the refs, Giants game was no different.

Hurts first pick could have been illegal contact and no one blinks, reagors first drop could have been DPI but refs with game on the line are usually reticent to make those calls.

Even reagors drop on the slant could have been a PI as the DB was piggy backing him before the ball arrived.

I'm not sure about Herbigs two holdings I havent seen them

I did see a couple obvious holds on giants OL that refs didn't call.

Also the block in the back by JJAW on a running play, I can't remember the last time block in the back was even called, maybe 1987???

The refs seemed to be calling a lot of ticky tac stuff on the eagles and letting the Giants play.

Yup, I forgot about that, just another on a long list of reason that Howie should be gone and Lurie should ban himself to the basement.

Playoff matches if it ended today.

Chargers Vs Patriots, Bills Vs Titans, Cinncy vs Chiefs.

Vikings vs Packers, 9ers vs Buccs, Rams Vs Cowboys

lot of meh matchups.

I thought there were seven playoff teams per conference.

Herbig at RG for the Jets game I guess?  Kelce is okay?

And if you ask me: That one TD the giants had hit the ground.

Listen, far be it from me to defend Jalen Hurts, as that ball should have not been thrown.

But 90% of professional WR come back to that ball and it's an easy catch.  If you watch the real time video of that play, Reagor's effort was piss poor.  It was more inexcusable then the drop on 4th down.  He comes back to that ball, it's an easy 1st down.  Problem is there wasn't a lot of time left on the clock with no timeouts.

Yea, Reagor was awful too. Not sure he would have caught it though, the safety read it the whole way.

Nick didn't really say anything besides they'll see where everyone is at Wednesday. Brooks is definitely out until maybe after the bye so Herbig is likely playing.

Not to mention the Daniel Jones QB sneak where the refs called it a first down even though both refs when running to the mark had it behind the first down line.🤷‍♂️

I haven't seen a definitive shot that shows he got a first there, I thought he was at least a half yard short, yet the refs gave him forward progress when his forward progress never took him to or past 1st down and they called it pretty quick, no waiting and looking just bam first down...

Weird stuff.

It clearly didn't but ok

I think the only other guy they would have is opera?

Is he still on the roster???

It does sound like Siri could be leaving the door open to sit Hurts this week with this ankle.

Jalen came back in and played on it, so seems a bit fishy that Nick would be so non-committal about his availability v NYJ.

Yea. They will probably sign Awosika or Toth to the roster too.

Yes, only Opeta left on the roster.

They still got Toth on the practice squad, he looked alright at times..
