Taysom Hill is going to start at QB for the Saints against DAL

Turds gonna get a much-needed win on Thursday.

I’d rather Hill play, Semien can’t.

They really badly need kamara back. He at least gives them a weapon.

Wait, I thought QBs got hurt running the ball?

I thought QBs got hurt taking hits.

I have been saying that about Hurts Sirianni and Reagor for months now.  Don’t blame them for accepting the job.  Blame Lowie.   But Reagor has a lot of **** to him.  So hard to show empathy.

Hurts at least has the right mindset. He’s built for it mentally, he just lacks the talent. My issue with Hurts has never been a mental/leadership issue. It’s actually why I want him to work out so badly because if he had the physical tools of a good QB, he’d be the total package.

Reagor on the other hand is this town’s next Fultz and Agholor. Maybe he turns it around, but it won’t be here.

Afan blamed the defense for "not getting a stop when it mattered" against the Giants. Safe to say he's gone full troll.

Speaking of WR, how is this guy flying under the radar?

Tyler Shough getting injured had a pronounced impact on his production.  With Shough in there, Ezukanma was going off for 100+ yards; once he went out the other QBs have been targeting other guys more.

Incidentally, if Shough had stayed healthy people would be talking about both of them as Day 2 draft picks.

He’s still pumped Howie got an extra 5th rd pick in this upcoming "loaded” draft.

I can't believe that he did that.   Did I miss it?

But that's life with a rebuilding team. The defense stopped the Giants except when it counted - because they lack the athletes to make plays. You can't blame Gannon when he doesn't have a dominant pass rusher, blitzer, safety . . .

🤦‍♂️.   13 points allowed... and got the ball back to the offense after Scott's fumble.

The issue is the offense put up 7 points.  When the defense holds the opponent to 13, you should win 99 out of 100 times.

Thanks, good to know. Love watching him play. Think the Eagles got a good one there.

I honestly haven't noticed him much yet.  I still think they need to use him like Aaron Donald rather than a Vinny Curry.

I asked him about it and naturally, he had nothing to say. I've seen everyone make bad takes, but damn.

People overthinking everything again.

Minshew is a backup QB, we're talking a Detmer type, he can run the offense for a few games, but will eventually be exposed. He has limited upside, lacks either the athleticism or the arm to be special, and isn't point point accurate. There's a reason no one offered more than a 6th rd pick.

What this offense needs, regardless of the QB down the road, is a reliable possession WR. Smith and Watkins have more than enough speed to keep defenses honest, but they lack the guy who can beat press coverage on those 3rd down slants when the refs are swallowing their whistles. You don't need a 1st rd pick to get this guy, but you might want to saturate bomb it (2nd/3rd rd, middle rd, a couple UDFAs). That 6'1/6'2 210 lb WR with great hands, good routes, enough quickness to beat a CB on the first step, doesn't matter if he runs a 4.6 40, see Landry.

Time to write off Reagor, you can only give a player so many chances, then it's time to move on.

With all of Hurts' struggles, if Herbig could just avoid those two holds, Eagles up 7-3 at the half, and get the ball back to start the second half.

If Scott doesn't fumble, they were driving with 3 timeouts, could have run the ball down the Giants throats and scored with 30 second left.

What good is another WR going to do if they QB we have isn't looking for him.  The total lack of spreading the ball around or giving any WR volume catches is killing this WR group.  I know those 2 things contradict each other but they aren't feeding Smith or Goedert but at the same time, none of the other WRs are getting catches.  Something has to give.

I do agree they need a possession WR.  Drake London would look good in round 2-3.

Is this another one of those silly Sirianni competitions where they try to see who can play the most snaps and drop the most passes/get the least amount of receiving yards per snap?

...which will transfer to being excited about next year's loaded draft when that 5th becomes a 7th in '23.

if, if, if.  but for me, the big if is "if" our QB was a legit QB, that game isn't even a little bit close.  So Herbig's holds don't matter and Scott's fumble is in garbage time.  But he's a running back/wildcat QB and so here we are.  Harping on Herbig's 2 holds and Scott's fumble.

Reagor is really talented. He had a really bad drop, but that’s okay. I want to see him when we aren’t running a college run first offense.

You mean like Jalen Hurts?

He put in Ward for the RZ package and he promptly a TD. Sirianni can’t win.

This guy in RD3 or RD4

I usually roll my eyes at the roster conspiracy theory stuff, but you could easily sell me on Sirianni getting overruled on playing Gainwell more. Dude brings him up unprompted a lot.

If London makes it past pick 35, his injury didn’t heal, or his rap sheet is longer than his arm.

No, RBs get hurt pretending to be QBs.

At this point, I would take Ward over Reagor the rest of the way. Reagor just doesn't have it- never has had it. Can't catch, can't do anything that takes a brain to do, can't return kicks... so what CAN he do? Hurt the team. Sit.
