I consider that athletic talent. He just needs to put it all together. I’m fine giving him that time. He’s just being rushed cause he’s a first round pick. Smith/Watkins should be the duo and let him excel in a smaller role. I think he can.

The Giants tee'd off on him, physically. Other defenses are going to do the same. Hurts days of running free are over. There will be some cheap shots thrown in there, too. The idea is to punish him as badly as they can, get hard hits on him, and make him WANT to throw, make Siri want to throw in order to spare his QB that kind of punishment.... but Hurts can't throw, so his a_s_s is gonna be one big bruise the rest of the way. I still think he has elite athletic talent.  I've been holding out hope for him.  I've said it a number of times but I really thought he had Steve Smith characteristics.  He just keeps getting worse and worse though.  The Eagles aren't helping him.  Every end around, jet sweep or screen they have thrown to him he's had literally no blocking.  He makes it worse by dancing around.  His punt returns are horrible. He shows no suddenness or elusiveness.  I don't understand why because he is an elite quick twitch athlete.  

I just don't think he has it.  He looks miserable out there.

I'm being hopeful he drops.  I have no idea how he's going to test.  He's on the same level as Mike Williams and we know how that worked out.  He was putting up video game numbers though pre-injury.  Will be interesting to see how he tests for sure.

I think he’s just doing too much and not just taking what’s there. It’ll take time, but I still have faith in him. He’s on the roster for another year or 2 anyway. 

I'm not sure there's a team I hate watching more than the Seahawks.

So because Chip Kelly was an idiot it means the jags and urban are going to deal away Lawrence? Additionally the Jaguars owner last year during the draft process said they weren’t trading that pick for anything because he thought Trevor Lawrence was a generational quarterback. I would be willing to bet the jags fire urban Meyer before they allow him to trade Trevor Lawrence.
