His knee is a major red flag. He injured it in high school and had to have it drained again recently.

Yup, don’t want a QB with injury concerns, been there, done that.

1 of Pickett or Corall will be there during our 2nd/3rd highest pick, whichever one it is, grab him. Barring a trade that is.

Kenny Pickett would be a much more shrewd choice; I think someone might overdraft him in the top 10, though.

I think Pickett goes in the middle of the 1st. Could very well work his way up into the top 10 after the combine

Hurts says he’s playing Sunday, gonna lose again

Probably not if they run 80% of the time. If Hurts tries to be an actual quarterback, you may be right.

Banged-up OL, Banged-up RBs and Hurts hobbling... prospects aren't looking so good.

I like Leal. I would prefer Hutchinson if he's available.  I think Hamilton is going to be gone.

Out of all the take's about this play I have found the dumbest

He's never missed a college game because of injury and yet Corrall and Pickett both have and have taken more hits.

Pickett has Danny Dimes written all over him. DO NOT WANT!

Corrall I see as a baker Mayfield

He hasn't, but a team will really have to investigate how sound the knee is. Just the beginning of the year it was bloody, had to be drained, he had to watch practice on a golf cart, etc.

Like his arm talent even if he's a slug, but the knee is a concern.

If he leads Smith up the field a bit and towards the sideline it's an easy first. What an idiot. Both of them.

It leaves us with limited resources to build the team, with a GM that struggles at bringing in top end talent in the top of the draft... how well will he do late in the draft?

About as good? It leaves us with every pick outside of the first rd this year and all our picks next year. It only uses our 1st rd picks this year. Now if we get lucky, maybe we spend 2- 1sts this year and a conditional 1st next year?

I get the excitement of having three 1st rd picks this year.  And that can totally transform our team. In my mind nothing would make a bigger change then addressing the most important position in all of sports, the guy who touches the ball and guides the offense on 90+% of all offensive plays. With a proven franchise QB, with little risk.

Even if Watkins just ran a better mesh route and Smith had another step on Bradberry, he had open field to pick up the first and run out of bounds. The S is in the endzone, so he's not covering the ground in time. And Robinson is running full speed across the field with Reagor in the corner. He's not going to be able to stop, turn around and run back to make the tackle.

What makes it even more infuriating is that Leadership is standing in a clean pocket, LOOKING RIGHT AT HIM, and is still too afraid/dumb/untalented to make the throw.

I think without QBs populating the top 5 in the draft you can kiss Hamilton goodbye.  Jamal Adams went #6 overall in a similar draft and I wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton goes earlier than that.

The thing is we don't know what NFL scouts think of Hamilton.  I think there are some talented CBs, DEs and OL that could push Hamilton down.  The other thing is that Adams doesn't look like a top 5 pick at this point.  He's got like 2 career interceptions.  He's never played to his potential.  Safety is a hard position to scout and teams may not view the risk of a top 10 pick worth the return.

And then scrambles around as Mailata shoves the guy well beyond him upfield

I will say I'm not sure why they would run that play to that side of the field given that it's a throw short of the sticks and it's to his bad side.

Easy first...could be a TD.

Need lurie to get out of the way as well. Ross tucker discussed reagor on WIP the other day saying he has heard lurie had a huge influence on that pick because of what he saw KC do with their speed in the previous super bowl.

also i can’t call Carson wentz a Whif because without his 13 game mvp performance the eagles aren’t on track to win that super bowl. I feel like that gets lost that those 13 games significantly matter in the end game result. They don’t win that Rams game which Carson played unbelievable until he tore his ACL. they don’t get home-field advantage without it.

Fair enough. 👍🏻

Sweet Baby Jesus...no way the first round goes this way, but I'd be beyond ecstatic.

If he can't make that pass then he should never play another down of football for any franchise. The majority of us can make that throw.

Has nothing to do with injuries, just hurts

With little time to make it payoff and not enough talent around him and no money left to sign anyone.

Yeah, this is inevitable.

The folks who said they would stop being Eagles fans if Howie trades all 3 1st rounders need to start shopping for a new team.
