Not very impressed with either team in this one.  DAL has a more talented defense now but it still gets pushed around.

I mistated. What I meant was the totality of pressures, hits and sacks was far more important than just sack numbers.

If your DL can consistently move a QB and make him uncomfortable, that's a lot more valuable than a few sacks, mostly picked up due to the QB trying to extend a play or a blocker missing a block. Veteran QBs like Brady are difficult to sack b/c they get rid of the ball quickly and are willing to throw it away, but if you can disrupt their timing, it will often become a long day for them.

And I would never compare Barnett to Graham. That's silly. Graham is one of the most fundamentally sound two way DEs in the NFL. Barnett gambles too much and often takes himself out of the play.

Well,  that may be.  But then why do you think the pass rush win rate shows our DEs are so highly productive,  and yet we see nothing in the real world results?

Maybe the stat should be based on winning the snap in 1.5 seconds instead of 2.5. Since most good QBs throw the ball before that. And pass rush win rate doest really equate to a pressure.

Fair-catching a 59-yard punt with one guy coming down on him.  Terrible play by Harris

I’m not sure how they determined 2.5 seconds to be the number. Maybe that’s the average snap to throw time among all passes? I couldn’t say. I do know that this season only 11 sacks have occurred in less than 2.5 seconds.

I'd take Quez at Z receiver and I still have a glimmer of hope that reagor can turn it around with a QB who can pass the ball, though that glimmer is getting quite dim.

The way I see it with Reagor is a better QB isn’t going to make him catch easy passes, stop him from running out of bounds on a perfect pass, run better routes, stop running lazy routes or be evasive with the ball in his hands. His problems are all on him.

Are comments turned off still?

For what it’s worth, here are the fastest snap to throw QBs in the NFL.

Although Hurts played terrible those last 2 passes to Reagor were right on him.  In the NFL, can't get much easier than that.

I wonder too how many targets Reagor gets and how often he's open compared to Jefferson, Aiyuk and maybe some other guys in his draft class.

Saints should have made a play for Rivers or Foles.

Gallup with another great catch.  He'd be near the top of my Eagles FA targets.

But would he be the second best receiver ???

Yup. He won’t undo it cause he have 1000 people telling him it was the jets

Is it bad that Hurts is 37th (dead last among qualifiers) at 3.11 seconds?

Btw — Hurts was dead last in his 2020 starts as well

Every bad Reagor play has been because of Reagor. I’m sure there are some with an inaccurate ball but nothing egregious comes to mind. The problem is all mental with him and the way he uses social media. At the end of last year when all he talked about was proving the haters wrong about him vs Jefferson is all I needed to see.

Refs are wearing Turds jerseys again tonight

The absolute worst is when he turns on comment allowed by people he follows and it’s all just "you da best, you gonna prove it to the world” or "you dropped this King 👑"

I hope one turns on him one day and is like "just have to say this but you suck bro”

That’s going to be when we sign Dante Pettis next offseason

Guys bringing up Reagor's Twitter account made me go check it out again. He liked this post recently. How the heck is this still his attitude? Look in the mirror, dude.

I think it’s funnier how he has 3 or 4 tweets calling him a bum that he’s saved as liked from over a year ago so he can put them on blast when he finally makes a play.

He's going to retweet a clip of a 15 yard catch at halftime again. 🤣

Lol he's done it to a few of this guy's posts. Which one of you is "Cut Jalen Reagor please... Amen" on Twitter?
