Ika on Baylor is yet another Polynesian house at DT. Dude is a monster.

Season 1 is only 5 episodes and just sets up the character development.  Season 2 is 12 episodes and is fantastic.  The Pony Remark, The Heart Attack, and The Busboy have to be viewed.

Starting with Season 3 would be like starting a great novel at page 20

Not everyone has that much free time. Season 2 is just not as good as subsequent seasons.

I’ve tried to watch The Wire multiple times. I gotten through 3 episodes and just lose interest. I’m guessing it gets much better cause I’ve heard a ton of people rave about it.

I watched it all the way thru.  Thought it was OK.  Everyone I talked to says it's the greatest show ever.  Don't see it.

Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire are way better.

Yeah, I like seeing how shows start and how they change once they get their footing.

Always Sunny wasn’t as good until Devito showed up.

The Simpsons improved once they stopped making Homer so angry.

Raising Hope, an underrated show, found its footing when they shifted the focus from the young dad to his parents.

The Seinfeld premiere was so bad I don’t feel like I can sit through the growing pains. I already know the characters and the heart of the show, so I might as well skip ahead to the good parts.

Ironically, they make George more angry once the show gets its footing. I recollect George being a Woody Allen knock off in the 1st season, Kramer less involved and more ‘acting’ by Jerry. If I was going to watch the show I’d probably start from the beginning - but since we’ve already been introduced to wider cast, there isn’t much to be gained as there isn’t a running plot.

Helluva stand by Baylor. Wow.

Oh that’s a shame…

Jalen Pitre is a player - given our need for safeties, he’s a solid mid-round choice.

So you gave up on the show when it was basically a rookie?

Houston vs cincy should be a good one , I am going with Houston for the upset , and for that to happen , Ridder has to have a bad day , which Houston D is capable  of

Run D good enough to make you one dimensional  , Houston has a few NFL players on their team ,

The Wire can be a challenge to get into and the 2nd season goes off on a tangent, but it's well worth sticking with.  Not as good as the Sopranos, but very close IMHO

Will Anderson Jr is a meaner and more talented version of Von Miller.

Scary combination.

I’ve started Seinfeld over from the beginning. Still as great as ever

Never liked it, even a little. My loss, I guess.

The Wire and Deadwood, both classics.

Seinfeld is one of those shows that has so much stuff that you can relate back to as you go through your day.

You see a lady with man hands, you encounter a grumpy food service worker " no soup for you!", someone wears a man bag, you forget where you are parked in a huge confusing parking garage, someone renegs on a deal, someone forgets to send you a christmas card, a guy all dripped out on the basketball court... and on and on.

Shows like that that you can make reference to all the time are a lot of fun.

Renegs on a deal? Something giver?   What’s that thing called when you call a restaurant and ask them to hold a table for you?

Haven’t seen Deadwood, haven’t seen Breaking Bad (aside for the first couple episodes) - no reason to be bored these days…

Never seen Deadwood, but I hear Ian McShane was good in it.

He was the show, there were very good characters but McShane was great!   No other show could have a character that made the prostitutes stand in a line and have them drop their tops just so he could run by, one direction with his tongue out, and make it seem normal.

I love Jordan Davis, but you can't draft a 2 down lineman in the first round, especially not in the range of our picks.

Desmond Ridder looking sharp on his first drive

Bigger problem with Davis , he runs hot and cold , and he is surrounded by studs

It's one season too late. He was done last year

Cincy pass D getting worked

Jordan Davis is getting drafted in the top 15 and will be a better pro player than college player. See Vea, Vita.

Houston looking good on O

You’re right about Vea , subs in and out  a lot
