He’s a good pocket pusher, so the lack of pass rush isn’t a biggie for me. He’s probably only good for 25-30 snaps per game - so those need to be money downs (situational football).  I think we need a player of his type to run a 6-man box and JD is the best of the lot - you could go with a lesser version Mathis (Bama) or Jones (UConn) - but they  are even more 1-dimensional and don’t have that Haynesworth size.

Dominance is what matters. Besides, with Jordan Davis, teams can play 2 high without sacrificing run defense. On 3rd downs, they can pull him if they want. He changes the math.

It looks like he is retiring. His arm is done, he can't stay healthy and who would sign a QB like him that has very little to offer?  No one
