D Gunn worked at nbc Philly and when it was called comcast sports net. He’s pretty reliable.

Back in Texas.  Sister got out of the rehab hospital one day and relapsed back into the real hospital in ICU the next day where they diagnosed her with Covid on top of all of her life threatening organ failures. Poor girl was mumbling incoherently yesterday afternoon but clearly miserable.   I am asymptomatic but will be getting tested early next week.  She is isolated so I couldn’t see her anyway but they also want to see a negative test for me.  Getting to test out my booster.  

So I missed all the stellar conversation in here about the game last Sunday.  Did get her huge TV hooked up to her laptop so with a little VPN masking and my Xfinity app, I should be able to watch the game live tomorrow.  (Did get to watch my Cougars against Cincinnati today. Love my Cougars but with the team being ranked, that makes a strong argument that Cincinnati deserves a spot in the championship.)

Eagles running game is in bad shape this week. Ironman Herbig is back at RG but pass pro isn’t his forte. DL banged up too.  Could they lose to the Jets?  Any given Sunday.  But not 12/5.  Eagles 17 Jets 13

Bonus  Smith and Goedert come up big with a TD each.

It’s Derrick Gunn. Been an Eagles reporter forever but lost his check mark because CSN let him go. He still has very good sources with the team, he was the first to report Grahams injury as well as other Eagles news this year. 

I'm not even sure Jeff Fisher can call a worse 4th down call there than Iowa did.  Holy crap they were fooling nobody going heavy lol.

Well, remember, Minshew is basically a rookie, has been in 4 offensive systems in 4 years and didn't have PS with the Eagles, only started working with the 1s this week in limited practice time.

Wake Forest should just wave the white flag.

Thanks. Recovery seems unlikely when the nurses and ER doctors talk about hospice. I just would like to see her a bit coherent again and not suffering more than anything.  Liver and kidney failure is a bad way to go.

I know the vaccine doesn’t keep me from getting the disease.  My cousin got it with two shots and his booster scheduled.  It was like a cold for him. My sister has had both shots but not the booster.  I have had all three and the booster three weeks ago. I should be at maximum immunity. I plan on doing better than Aaron Rodgers and Flacco because of my "I am immunized.”
