I just wear a mask eventhough I'm vaccinated to hide my smiling face when I see them in public.

Question is, when will they throw it to JJAW. Will be interesting to see if sirrianni and co have any wrinkles off those WR screens where JJAW is out blocking where they'd throw him the ball.

I don't say anything not my place but I do avert my eyes elsewhere. I know why they do it and it is smart however.... One of my best friends is about 6ft and weighs 400lbs. I try to encourage him to cut back or he will die. Slamming 12 inch hoagies with a lb of salami and cheese shoved in there along with a 8oz bag of party mix and then washing it down with 2 20oz cokes is hard to watch. Now he needs surgery on his knees or he won't be able to walk but, can't get the surgery because he is at risk of dying from getting out under. Still doesn't stop him from going to BK every single day. All I'm saying society shouldn't make it acceptable or people like my friend will go in an early grave.
September 13, 20214 yr If Hurts is for real, and let's face it, he'll have worse games than this just by the law of averages, we can spend our first four 4 picks on defense in the draft to address what are clearly the biggest weaknesses on the team (LB, S, CB).

D-Line will be a high pick given the age of Cox and Graham.

I saw a commercial for Old Navy promoting women's pants up to size 30 with a bunch of severely overweight women dancing around which ended with some silly hashtag. If you don't support them, you're fatphobic...it's a thing, and it's ridiculous. I thought you were gonna say "ended with them falling through the floor." 😄

It really is sad what people do to themselves with unhealthy food choices. Always thought to myself that if the Gov't really cared about the health of it's people, especially nowadays, it would issue proper diet and exercise mandates. **(Before I get destroyed for saying that, I'm fully vaxxed.)

It's a nice thought but you can't do it. It's their lives and if they choose to stuff their face everyday with BK and Popeyes then so be it. Cigarettes and alcohol are bad for you as well but people still use them.

You got the laugh emoji for the last sentence but, yes I agree. I always found it comical when obese people beotched at me for smoking and it was unhealthy and I'll die from it ( I quit smoking) while they shove 12 packs of tastykakes down their throat and I'm not supposed to say anything to them?

Growing up we didn't have a lot of money to eat outside the home, which was probably good for our nutrition. We usually had a garden with potatoes, carrots, peas, and berries, etc. -- even occasionally grew corn. It was very seldom we ever went to a fast food restaurant, or had soda pop or junk food in the house. Hasn't helped me eat healthy as an adult -- I eat too much pizza, ice cream, chocolate, etc., but at least I was in good shape growing up and my parents gave us healthy choices. I'm carrying about 30-40 extra pounds now, which is completely my fault. I also know how to fix it -- it's just a question of wanting to.

Does that make you feel better about yourself by saying something negative about someone? Make you feel more manly by catcalling an attractive person? Different people have different metabolism, have different health issues, have different sizes, symmetry, style choices and intelligence. Frankly, I am encouraged when I see people not afraid to wear what they are most comfortable in regardless of whether it would be my fashion choice. I think it's got to be a whole cultural push, I mean look at Japan. Not alot of obese people there because of the countries whole culture of exercise and balanced life and minimalism ect... Where as USA is all about excess and everything being big and extravagant, as a result so are the people.

Seriously guys receivers need to catch and gain yards and stuff too That really is the measuring stick for a WR. A WR who can do that and block is an asset. A WR who can only block is a wasted roster spot. Good on JJAW for blocking well yesterday, but if that's the only positive thing to be said for him in the game, that's not really much of a complement. Better than nothing, I suppose, but hardly worth touting.

I didn't word it in the best of ways but, I do not say anything or feel the need to I lost 1 friend because of obesity and about to lose 2 more. I care for them deeply and I encourage them to eat a little better. My point is those same people have no trouble making comments about my life style choices while they continue to eat like they do and I just sit there and keep my mouth shut while they eat themselves to death. I actually like bigger girls but, it gets to the point of being thicc and just being a walking heart attack.

That is a huge issue in our processed foods. Added sugars and added salt. Really not necessary.

Being grossly overweight is not healthy. It should not be celebrated and paraded around like it's a good thing. It can kill you. There's a reason that somewhere around 80% of hospitalized Covid cases have obesity as a comorbidity....90% of deaths. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-obesity/obesity-a-driving-factor-in-covid-19-deaths-global-report-finds-idUSKBN2AW1X0 It isn't healthy for anyone. The other underlying issue is that this younger generation is using it's immense power to change societal norms. They've made the term phobic almost as irrelevant as racist with how it's used now. If as a man, you aren't attracted to a fat woman, you're now guilty of being fatphobic. Thinking that the United States should have controlled borders does not make you a xenophobe, it just means you want immigrants to follow correct protocol to citizenship. Shoot, there were 9/11 memorial services shut down for fear of appearing too xenophobic. It goes on and on and on. Also, notice no one is celebrating fat men. Fat men are gross. Fat women are beautiful according to this whole movement.
