We all know neither Hurts nor Minshew are the answer for this team past this year.

So the real topic of interest should be did we lock in the Colts first round pick today? I hope so considering what we lost for it. 😞

Sirianni: "Of course Jalens the starting QB”

Minshew looked good but for all the people crying about Hurts arm, Minshew's didn't look any stronger.

It’s already been determined we did not

Well there you go. Mind you Sirianni also said benching Reagor would hurt the team. So as well as Sirianni has done at times as a rookie HC I still have my doubts over him. If he goes back to Hurts and they lose then God help him.

Both are calls coming from above...

Is that Colts pick a 1st officially? Thought I remembered hearing after week 13.

This is Sirianni though. He does talk a lot of rubbish.

Of course... that's his MO.  Oversells his guys.  That one was just way over the top.  He could have just gone with 'one of the best'... not 'the best'.

This was inevitable. And this is a choice thats rooted in the front office.  Actually it is fine.  We will fair better in the long run with more losses and lower draft picks.

Did Wentz get pulled early today?

Almost... Wentz and the Colts got a big lead and he was taken out at the end again.   Needed 61 more snaps, only got about 40, I think.

Every player tells you the playoffs are different. Getting a taste of that 100% prepares you better for next time. It’s moronic to think getting exposed to something you haven’t experienced before won’t help you the next time you see it again.

The question isn't does it have any value, it's is the value significant enough to make up for the loss of draft pick value or deluding your front office.

I have serious doubts, even if we get that first for it, that we will get anything in return with that pick of like value to what we gave up.

From what we heard, yes.  Up 24-0.

Man.  Nice to see a QB who can actually throw the ball.

Amen.  And throw to the whole field, stand in the pocket, be accurate, and be mobile enough. Intelligent QB play goes a long way to winning.

Ah the dreaded vote of confidence. If you have to tell the media your QB is the starter, generally there is a legit argument to be made they shouldn't be.

No. He played 63 snaps I believe. He's a few away from making it almost a lock if he keeps his current snap pace.

Word finally reached the Colts that they could bench Wentz to preserve the pick so they benched him and he missed 10 or so snaps

Unless they are prepared to shut him down for the year, to little way to late.

Sirianni might say Hurts is the starter when healthy but all that matters is what Lurie wants.  If he says to play Gardner then it will happen

He was pulled

Gardner looks a little like Goose from Top Gun.

RIP GARDNER.  We hardly knew ye.

What confuses me is that I heard a coach once say Nick Foles was the QB for the next 1000 years.

THen he only took one snap. In other words, fake news.
