That's incredible and saying it out loud on a message board takes some courage so, again good for you. I'd like to say you have the support of fellow Eagles fans/humans here. Everything you said is true in many ways. Every single one of us have our own issues and our own demons, all having different factors. No matter what, keep up the good work. Thank you! Your support is more appreciated than you know!

September 13, 20214 yr Author After week one, nominal injuries from the game and a week closer to having McLeod, Dickerson, et.al. returning. Another factor that is making things feel different in a good way.
September 13, 20214 yr If the Eagles get the 3 1st round picks next season, wouldn't be shocked if Howie tries to trade one of them to a team wanting to move up in the draft for a 2023 1st round pick. So you can have multiple years in a row with multiple 1st round picks. It obviously would depend who's on the board, but rooting for other teams to fail is an added Sixers-esque element to the season that you typically don't get in football. Last time was the Vikings with the Bradford pick. Checked some Colts discussion and Colts fans are already arguing whether or not Wentz was responsible for the OL breakdowns and holding the ball too long. Thank the F christ Eagles fans don't have to worry about that anymore.

And while I’m supportive of anyone trying to change their lives for the better, this has been bothering the f*** out of me lately. I’ve lost close to 70 pounds since I started my weight-loss journey back in March, yet I still struggle with self-acceptance/confidence partly because this whole movement likes to neglect men for some reason. Sure, there might be a few people who "acknowledge” us, but where are our magazine covers and clothing commercials? It’s not right. I’d also like to point out that other factors contribute to obesity. I, for one, struggle with depression and anxiety disorders. I also grew up in a home that liked to reward with food at an early age. A lot of people assume we’re all just fat, lazy slobs, but that’s not the case. A lot of us struggle with something deeper. A lot of us know our lifestyle choices aren’t healthy and want to change. But sadly, some don’t. Some of us also kill ourselves because of the torment other people inflict upon us. We’re not here to be ridiculed and judged. Most of us just need one person to be supportive rather than judgmental. Kindness works miracles, I tell you. Lastly, and I can’t speak for all of us, but I have never expected nor wanted anyone to "celebrate my fatness.” All I have ever wanted is to be treated with respect. You got my respect my friend. (Nothing personal if I call you a moron about Eagle's stuff though) Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing this, I'm sure it's wasn't easy, good luck in your health goals, I have people in my family that have mental illness that either directly affects their weight or the medication they take does and it's a tough balancing act between physical and mental health Keep keeping on! your value as a human isn't determined by your scale!

Yup. Teams win games on offense... they only lose games on defense.

I think the majority of folks know what the right choices are with regards to eating healthy. But it's the emotional landmines that often get in the way. I have several times had a miserable morning at work and then just said "F it" and bought a cheeseburger and fries from the cafeteria. Also, I have a good friend who is a doctor who laments that there isn't as much money in prevention as in treatment. So the healthcare industry isn't really anxious to solve these problems.
September 13, 20214 yr The 49ers, Saints and Eagles all scored 30+ points. Air Yards aren't that big of a deal. Bills, Jaguars and Cowboys all lost too.
September 13, 20214 yr 23 minutes ago, Sack that QB said: Arthur Smith coached one of the worst games I’ve ever seen yesterday. What in the hell was he doing? His best players are Matt Ryan and Ridley, yet he tried to win running the football. And they got off to a strong start so okay, fine. But once you get down by two TDs they continue to try and win running the ball? And barely rolled Ryan out to avoid the pressure in the 2nd half. Apparently there was an interview with Arthur Blank where he said he wanted Arthur Smith because "he’s a running coach and you win in the NFL running the football” or something. Good luck with that. He did very well with the Titans calling plays, but sheesh. It's a lot easier to run the ball when Derrick Henry is your RB

Atlanta coaches should be using that as the teaching tool for their players. Two OPIs on stupid plays by them.
