The Mailata emergence sure comes in to play when looking at Dillard.  He might be OK at LT but considering the fact that Howie used 3 draft picks to acquire him and he doesn't see the field puts him more in the flop zone to me.

The argument can be made where's he going to play when the Eagles have Mailata.   There have been long term injuries to RT, RG and LG over the last 2 years and the fact that he isn't talented enough to cross train and fill in tells me enough about him.  Hate Herbig all we want, he can plug in at RG, C, LG.  Driscoll can plug in at RT, RG, LG and probably C if needed.  Opeta has played across the line.  Mailata has played LT and RT.

To me, that's a waste of a player and border line flop.  OL and DB is the one position group where you can usually slide a guy to a different position to either get a player on the field because they are too talented to sit on the bench or they need to switch to see if a different position is a better fit.  Malcolm Jenkins was not a good CB.  He's a Pro Bowl safety.  Todd Herremans was a T/G.  If I recall, Jermaine Mayberry was drafted to be a tackle but found his home at RG.  

If a player has talent, you find a way to get him on the field.  Dillard is an afterthought.

So what I’ve learned from the blog today is if you don’t like jalen hurts you are racist and making fun of reporters or athletes such as ESP referring to swag means you are also racist. I never knew this. I am now Woke to this
