You got my respect my friend. (Nothing personal if I call you a moron about Eagle's stuff though) Keep up the good work.

Haha. No offense shall be taken. Thank you!

Explain this to me

BMI is your body mass index.  A normal BMI is measured pretty much between 19 and 25.  25-30 is overweight.  30 and above is obese.  The other side is anything under 19 is underweight which can be just as unhealthy.

If we were to go by BMI rules, how many NFL players at skilled positions would be considered obese?

Boston  Scott is 5-6 203 lbs.  His BMI is 32.  Under BMI rules, he's obese.

Kenny Gainwell is 5-9 200 lbs.  BMI of 30.  Obese.

Jalen Hurts.  6-1 223.  His BMI is borderline 30...obese.

BMI table

You mean the CB of CBs?

Being an obese male for a good portion of my life, this has always been a difficult subject for me to talk about. And while I’m supportive of anyone trying to change their lives for the better, this has been bothering the f*** out of me lately.

I’ve lost close to 70 pounds since I started my weight-loss journey back in March, yet I still struggle with self-acceptance/confidence partly because this whole movement likes to neglect men for some reason.

Awesome job, man.  Keep going!   I also started in March.  Only 30 lbs for me, and just hit a plateau, but I still feel better than I did before.

The 49ers, Saints and Eagles all scored 30+ points. Air Yards aren't that big of a deal.

Bills, Jaguars and Cowboys all lost too.

It's rather irrelevant isn't it? Surely air yards don't mean much... Yards and points are what matter.

First of all...congrats to you on the 70 lbs down.  That's incredible and saying it out loud on a message board takes some courage so, again good for you.  I'd like to say you have the support of fellow Eagles fans/humans here.

Everything you said is true in many ways.  Every single one of us have our own issues and our own demons, all having different factors.

No matter what, keep up the good work.

Thank you!

I know how difficult it can be to get a dialogue going on obesity, but I hope that by me sharing a little bit of my story that it might help someone out there who’s struggling.

I don't want to speak for Iggles but if you look at the numbers...numbers I shared, 80% of all Covid hospitalizations have obesity as a comorbidity with 90% of deaths worldwide having obesity as a comorbidity.

Have we heard once, maintain a healthy diet?  Lose weight? Not once.

If the CDC is linking the condition and pushing people to get treatment for underlying conditions that's part of the message.  In terms of mandates, it's not possible to mandate a healthy meal.  If you're talking about employers' conduct and obesity, certainly employers are allowed to push the higher healthcare costs of the obese onto them.  Some employers mandate a BMI limit for workers.  It's not a protected class and it is regarded as a controllable risk rather than an uncontrollable health condition.

Colts might be playing without both OTs.

At some point one would think they might give the guard blocking hargrave some help, either a RB stepping in it having Matty ice roll away but falcons never did.

I've heard how great a play caller Arthur smith is he didn't show it yesterday, derrick Henry can make play calling a bit easier, without Henry in the backfield I didn't see anything from Arthur smith that would convince me he's some master play caller.

If he is than what's that make Gannon who shut him down?

They could mandate healthier meals provided by public schools no???

Wentz has clearly lost the locker room.

This is almost if not better than Mailata flattening a CB.  Watching this live I didn't think it was Kelce because he threw the first guy about 10 yards.  Would love for him to stick around a few more years.

Would explain why he really didn’t look good in the second half.

kelce got held on that play too , take that back that wasn't the play , it was on the screen to miles that he was held

I think they do but it's also subject to what is commercially available.  - they also limit what people can get using food stamps.

I think the majority of folks know what the right choices are with regards to eating healthy.  But it's the emotional landmines that often get in the way.

I have several times had a miserable morning at work and then just said "F it" and bought a cheeseburger and fries from the cafeteria.

Also, I have a good friend who is a doctor who laments that there isn't as much money in prevention as in treatment.  So the healthcare industry isn't really anxious to solve these problems.

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree.

I also realized early on that the healthcare industry isn’t interested in helping to combat obesity, among other things. That’s why it’s so important to have support.

Yeah I didn’t understand why there wasn’t any max protection called to give Ryan time to take a shot to Ridley or that TE who’s already being put into the HOF.
