Rush, The Who

while good, no where near the number of quality tunes from the Beatles together and seperately.

Not arguing with that but I'd lean more towards Danny Carey.  I'm a huge Tool fan so I'm a little biased.

We aren’t going to beat Washington with Hurts not at 100%. We might not beat them with Hurts at 100%

You know how we could beat them? Minshew.

I'm not very confident in going 4-0 down the stretch.

The entire catalog of quality music that came from Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and even Star, during and after the Beatles, goes unmatched in my book.   Clapton, Stones, probably comes closest.

I‘d say Pink Floyd but all pretty impressive for sure.

Neither am I.

But this way, the failure to do so is even more frustrating as we will have had control over our own fate.

Makes for better Blog dialogue.

We win even when we lose.

We await your analyses.

My premise isn't that Hurts is a substantially better passer. I do think he's been a better player, as we've thrown less and run more. People will argue whether that's sustainable, but that's a different discussion.

Use CPOE & ADOT per week, we do see improvement from Hurts. The Giants game tanked most of his numbers, but now we know he did that with a bad ankle. Otherwise, he's a bad deep ball passer (obvious to use who watch him underthrow open WRs), good on screens, but struggles in the immediate short game in part because he refuses to go over the middle meaning all his short stuff is out wide.

There's been no real regression with him at the helm and the offense is much better now than earlier in the year. He should start the rest of the season, then we re-evaluate our options.

He did his best in the Giants game WITH a bad ankle. He was perfectly healthy until the last two drives. He tanked his numbers on his own.

Wouldn't shock me if Washington beats us both times.  I can see them getting the NYG back and Dallas all depends on if they are resting starters.

Led Zeppelin, even today they have a little boy  cover band that doesn’t sing covers, Greta Van Fleet.

Adam Jones doesn’t get enough credit for his playing or his creativity because he’s not shredder, like his buddy Morello.   Justin Chancellor is an excellent bass player as well.

Led Zeppelin,

My fav band by far - but they did so little after Bonzo died.   Really dissapointed me as a fan. Yeah you had the Honey Drippers and Page and PLant... but mostly meh...

Where as all the Beatles stayed relevant producing really good music for a decade after the Beatles broke up.

Adam Jones is a great guitar player.  All 4 of them are incredible musicians.

Was actually planning to go see them live in Buffalo but then this covid crap hit and everything got canceled.  Gonna try to see them on this upcoming tour.

I'm confused -- why is Jalen 'tough'??

He didn't suit up last week, he won't be playing a game on this bye week, and is returning next weekend vs WFT.  That's 3 weeks.  "Usually 2-4 weeks".

3 is somewhere between 2-4 ..... this I know to be true

There are better stats to show passing efficiency: YPA, CPOE, PPG. Hell, QBR/Passer Rating are available

Using passing yards to show improvement/regression is either misleading or ignorant.

Different argument, and perfectly acceptable to do so.  He chose two measures... and they are what they are.   They stopped passing as much, because he showed he can't handle the load they had on him.

You focused on one stat he chose.  He did also choose QBR.   You are welcome to counter it with those other stats, if you'd like.  They are available.  Please do so, it would be interesting to see if all the stats follow the same downward trend.  Or if any (and which ones) are trending up.

It would be interesting to see these stats cross-referenced against the opponents and their DVOA.

It is fair to say that the quality of opponent has changed since the early part of the season, would it not?

You didn’t love Coverdale and Page?  Lol.

I think it disappointed everyone but Plant,  Bonham’s death crushed him, but listening to him now in interviews I also believe he was done with the whole band thing.  He seems to love working with Allison Krauss.

Before this false narrative gets spun that you can write off Hurts performance against the Giants because he hurt his ankle:

Yep.  They have the better QB.  The better offensive weapons.  The better coach.  The Better defense.

I don‘t think that is true.

We have the better QB, better weapons and a better coach. They probably do have the better defense though..
