Not arguing with that but I'd lean more towards Danny Carey.  I'm a huge Tool fan so I'm a little biased.

Funny, I've just always thought of you as a huge tool.

You didn’t love Coverdale and Page?  Lol.

I think it disappointed everyone but Plant,  Bonham’s death crushed him, but listening to him now in interviews I also believe he was done with the whole band thing.  He seems to love working with Allison Krauss.

3 excellent songs on that album

I'd much rather an artist put out sporadic excellent work than 50+ years of continuous garbage like the Rolling Stones.

again ok. Just not the same amount as what the Beatles did after they broke up.

I'm confused -- why is Jalen 'tough'??

He didn't suit up last week, he won't be playing a game on this bye week, and is returning next weekend vs WFT.  That's 3 weeks.  "Usually 2-4 weeks".

3 is somewhere between 2-4 ..... this I know to be true

Isn’t Giglio the guy who put out a big time hit piece on Wentz?

Not to mention The Traveling Wilburys.  Roy Orbison was a seriously underrated talent.

There are better stats to show passing efficiency: YPA, CPOE, PPG. Hell, QBR/Passer Rating are available

Using passing yards to show improvement/regression is either misleading or ignorant.

I did use passer rating.

I specifically used yards because yards are a production stat.  High yards do not necessarily make you good, bad, or in between.  But it shows how much of a passer you are...output.  Hurts' passing output is trending down over time.  When a player is supposed to learn to grow as a passer, become less reliant on running...I don't want to see decreasing passing output over time.

Before this false narrative gets spun that you can write off Hurts performance against the Giants because he hurt his ankle:

Damn - so he played better hurt?  Absolute legend.  What a leader.

I mean seriously, that shows serious grit and determination.

Sounds right.  The Philly sports market is stuck with some really bad media types.

Now you can feel how crushed I was when he didn't suit up against the Jets.  I had huge bounce-back game in my prediction -- made me look exactly as dumb as I am

I am the senate

Meh, while the Zep guys did little of merit after they broke up, the Beatles didn't put out great stuff, Harrison had one bloated album, you can stick with a greatest hits CD for both Lennon and McCartney, and Ringo has been more of a novelty act.

Like most novelists and songwriters, there is usually an expiration date after a decade or so, Rolling Stones were great from the mid-Sixties (after they stopped trying to be a blues band and Jagger/Richards started writing) through Some Girls, after that, bleech. Beatles were basically Lennon/McCartney for a decade of great songs. Dylan after Desire can hardly fill a greatest hits CD. Neil Young at least maintained for two decades with some valleys but also peaks. Same with Townsend and the Who, he ran out of ideas in the 1980s. The Kinks had a series of great albums but were cooked by the mid-1970s.

You want to see a group after their first CD, but before they break it big, play stadiums and huge festivals and after being on the road for a few year playing to faceless crowds, start mailing in their performances. The point where they stop being amateurs and before they start playing it by rote, when you can still see them in clubs and relatively small venues.

Had he played and kept improving on that post injury play, he probably would have completed 100% of his passes for 7 TDs, no picks, and a passer rating of 175

Saying Hurts has "leadership and intangibles" has the same energy as trying to upsell an ugly girl for "having a great personality" and the humpers don't get it.

Does Gardner Minshew make your pee-pee feel funny?  Be honest

It would be interesting to see these stats cross-referenced against the opponents and their DVOA.

It is fair to say that the quality of opponent has changed since the early part of the season, would it not?

Yes, but CPOE takes opponent into account. If you're playing a defense with good CBs, then CPOE takes that into account by looking at coverage. So while it's not the same thing as DVOA by unit, it does consider strength of opponent. Sadly, full DVOA rankings are behind a paywall.

Yep.  They have the better QB.  The better offensive weapons.  The better coach.  The Better defense.

Rivera is in over his head!

I don't hate the Beatles, but I enjoyed this.

I somewhat agree with this -- other than McCartney, who put out a lot of good stuff with Wings (some other people he dragged around) through the 70s

Rolling Stones have about 4 good songs and the rest is junk -- never close to a great band.  Other artists are finally starting to call that out

Someone needs a statistical analysis to show that Minshew ran Sirianni's Hurts offense far better than Hurts ever will?

Minshew walked in after a year not playing and the dude was almost f'ing perfect.  Analysis over.

Cute...he's a better coach...they are a better team.  But we might beat them without Hurts playing.

Speaking of dumper....how's life treating you in the shittiest state in the country?

I don’t know if Rivera is better than NS, I think the jury is still out on NS. I don’t think much of Rivera tho. Otherwise, they def have a better team than us
