I don’t know if Rivera is better than NS, I think the jury is still out on NS. I don’t think much of Rivera tho. Otherwise, they def have a better team than us

Rivera f'ing blows

He stayed irrelevant long enough to become a tenured respectable coach, like Jeff Fisher was.

Hes one of those guys who's around forever and no one gives a ish, so the common opinion is "yeah hes not bad..."

But then you look like 10 years later, he hasnt won a damn thing, and you realize "wait he sucks doesn't he?"

I've never quite understood why the Eagles and Broncos have been squabbling over Mac McCain all season.  You'd think he was an all pro

I’ve loved a lot of eagles over the 30 years I’ve watched them, kelce might be the one I’ve grown to love the most and favorite out of all of them. Dude is awesome on and off the field.

Can't imagine their job is THAT hard.  There are multiple platforms out there that allow you to schedule all of your social media activity for months at a time.  Go rest up so you can show us pictures of Eagles pre-game outfits.

Anybody have some of the details of the article

I think it was a WIP pre-game show a few weeks back or something but Dave Spadaro was on and he was asked if Jason Kelce is a future Hall of Famer and to my shock Dave was very  much against the idea that Kelce will go the Hall of Fame.  Seemed very out of character for him.

Of all the times Spadaro goes against the team...

Banner: So I’m playing Hurts. Even though I have all these doubts about him, because more information is better. I know what Minshew is, and I have him back next year no matter what. So if you said to me, "Who do I think gives them a better chance to win the next game?” I think it’s Minshew. But if I say the goal of my season here is to get all the information I need and accumulate all the assets I have to be in a position to compete for a Super Bowl in two-to-three years, then it’s Hurts.

Basically, if they want the playoffs they will go with Minshew if they want to position themselves better for the future roll with Hurts see if he has anything and get better drafting position.

Um... its not.  They are the PR department.  They aren't the players who are beating their bodies up.   And I'd be willing to bet that ALL of them remain glued to social media all weekend long.    But, that's just them saying that the team is away and they don't have any swag videos to link to and so they are going to just take a vacation rather than try to spin Hurts vs. Minshew.

Its almost as if he's pro-tank here.   He's suggesting they should play the QB that is less likely to get them to the playoffs... in favor of 'information gathering'.  Might as well sit Kelce now too and find out who the center will be next year if he doesn't come back.  Start Herbig at center and gather information.    Makes sense.

I just finished the whole article now and to me the overall thought is that the FO probably knows Minshew can work in this offense and play at a decent level. They (The FO) want to gather as much information as possible on Hurts and see if he has anything they can work with. Using this season as a foundation to put the team in position to make a run in 2-3 years. I absolutely don't think its out of the question that the FO may try to flip Hurts for anything this off season.

Banner is right

No.  Because in the next 4 games,  there is no way Hurts is going to prove he going to be the guy for next year,  and further in to the future.

We have seen enough. There's noting else to be gained in 4 more games.

I still don't think Kelce gets into the HoF unless they do one of those big dumps of past veterans they did a few years ago. And it's not to say he hasn't had a HoF career, just that the HoF is finnicky when it comes to C's.

Banner doesn’t know.

Why do the beats always run to Banner like he's the know it all of every subject?

It took Kevin Mawae until 2019 to get voted in and he was a 7-time All Pro.  Kelce has an uphill climb to get voted in.

I really hope he gets in so we can see another mummers outfit and speech.
