I disagree. If the #1 seed isn't in play for the Cowboys then it makes more sense just to rest their starters. This is the longest season in NFL history. No need to make your players play it if you don't need to while heading into the playoffs.  #2 without the bye loses a lot of its value.

If they are #4 I can see them trying to win to get the three seed to avoid the rams and play some soft team. If they are 3 I don’t think they have much reason to play hard for #2 seed. 
 

I think Cowboys backups might beat us anyway.

I don’t think they would think that if they limped in and back doored into the 7th seed and got embarrassed by having a QB who can’t throw. It would probably make them more likely to blow their load on a Russell Wilson trade. 

Eagles are currently -3.5 next week.

Hurts and Lamar Jackson are the only running QB's in the NFL.

Josh Allen goes in the category of QB's who can run...and he is still flawed, not precise enough, and runs more than he should.  He's also 6'5" and can probably throw a football downfield off balance with his left arm better than Hurts could stepping into it with a 50mph tail wind.

He also threw it 54 times and completed 67% of his passes. Also bills are 60-40 pass to run ratio. Eagles are 48-52 pass to run.

Eagles should be cause Washington’s offense was miserable in that game. Washington’s defense was solid and not really the issue in that game. Their oline was awful and heinicke got destroyed by Dallas’ defense. Washington turnovers gave Dallas 11 points in that game. I could see the eagles defense playing well. I have concerns about how the offense for the eagles will look. Feels like it could be similar to week 17 last year where it was a struggle before we pulled hurts
