My aunt has a regulation size pool table that turns in to her studio 54 Christmas village every year.  Elaborate setup with all the snow,  and lights hooked up.

She has so much,  there are still other pieces set up in different areas of her house too.

Those displays give a warmer cozier appearance than that one from the movie,  but if you could create a village made up of the various neighborhoods from different Christmas movies that would be very cool.

Christmas with the Kranks would be a good addition.

That's actually exactly what I was thinking, create a movie village.  My moms has snow, she makes different levels with hills for sledding and a frozen creek for ice skaters.  It's definitely a cozy village feel.  Dickensville is her go to and boy it is not cheap.

But does Lamar have Hurts swag ??

This is the biggest concern when the Eagles evaluate Hurts' ceiling in terms of a franchise QB decision.  Does Hurts have a higher ceiling than Lamar Jackson as a passer?  I doubt it, frankly.  There is no argument to be made that Hurts has more potential as a runner.

Don’t snort that Studio 54 snow.

No.  Lamar is a way better runner than Hurts

Nothing baffling about it at all in retrospect... they saw him as the next Russell Wilson, so they had to go get him and make sure they didn't miss out on Wilson again.   The baffling part is what they saw to make it seem like Hurts could in any way match Wilson's game.

I watched Wilson yesterday and I don't see why people would hate to have him as an Eagle. Even with a bad o-line and injury he could get the ball downfield.

Both have high ankle sprain swag at the moment

Yeah I think Lamar is better than Hurts in every category, except Swag. And I don't think it's particularly close either.

I don’t hate the idea of having him. I’m just not fond of trading multiple firsts for him at his age.

But can he deadlift 600lbs? That's the all important credential for an NFL qb. I would take Lamar over Hurts in a heartbeat and I really don't like Lamar.

Good enough in Chicago with those "wide receivers" and Matt Nagy?  Can't imagine why not.

I think he was referencing Lamar and Hurts.

I agree on that point.

Big if true…

It was a joke..."he owns the bears"

Lamar Jackson is a top 10 QB...he's just unique (which is why he fell to 32 overall). Baltimore has been a playoff team every year he's been a starter...and their offense has been better than their defense. He's done it with mediocre WRs, OL, RBs, etc.  I will argue his offensive coordinator is below average (see the Miami game where he couldn't figure out zero blitz). Not everyone can play like Tom Brady.

Nagy is a bad coach. I actually like Mooney. He’s been good. but the rest of that WR has been miserable this year including robinson (might be QB issue too). Their best olineman is peters who’s having a solid year but at 39 he shouldn’t be your best olineman. The rest of that line has grades in the 50s and 60s of pff.

Yes i get that. I was also joking

I want a QB that screams "I own you!" to the Cowboys fans and means it.

Cause it was only his offensive coordinator who couldn’t figure out the zero blitz? Maybe it was also the guy playing QB as teams have done that more and more and he’s been struggling for over a month now. Just point out in Lamar’s last 3 starts (where he’s completed the game) they are averaging 15 points. in games where Huntley has played significant snaps or started 19 points. Lamar has also thrown 6 picks in his last 3 starts where he’s finished the game (yesterday played a quarter). Could be the QB is also not playing well

His td pass to guyton was ridiculous. He got lit up right as he was throwing it and it was a bomb

He fell to 32 because he was/is a bad passer, not because he’s unique.

Id take Rex over Gannon as DC right now.

My concern with Gannon is that he really has not adjusted his approach to match the personnel.  There are some things he is doing OK but the d-line, the only position with some above average talent, has vastly underperformed. I think this is mostly due to his focus on the secondary.  He wants to much reading and reacting up front which does not suit the DTs.  He needs to adjust his approach.  I do think the secondary has looked ok at times from a talent perspective.  I mean any defense that gives up over 80% completion percentage is doing things wrong.

Yea but that future first man…could make it all better.  I’m feeling a ~4 sack per year DE that just defends the run so well and gets lots of pressures which are more important than sacks anyway.
