Carson Wentz literally had a big pile of garbage at WR to throw to last year.  It's unbelievable.

Alshon Jeffry is not playing.  Fulgham just got released from a practice squad.  Desean is on his 2nd team and has caught 14 passes in 12 games.

I know there's unhappiness at how great Micah Parsons has been, but it's nice to actually have a real WR at the top of the depth chart.

It would have been nice if the Front office would have drafted Jefferson qand Metcalf, and not DRafted Hurts, Wentz would likely still be our QB, and we might have been able to draft Parson instead of Smith.

Now we have Smith, but no QB and NO parsons

Can't play that what if game....if they had Metcalf and Jefferson, playing with Carson, I see no way our record would have allowed us to draft Parsons.  No matter what...F Howie!

if a hoppy toad had wings it wouldnt bump its butt when it hopped

Thats why I stated Might have been able to.  Regardless, we have Jjaw, Reagor and Smith and NO QB!

If Hurts' ankle is still a little injured, I don't care how many players Washington has out, he'll still struggle.

It honestly irks me more and more every week as they post the playoff standings knowing that we're literally pissing away this season because Howie got backed into a corner and now has to start Hurts "for information"

Its the biggest self made crock of ish in the NFL.

Edit:. And I forgot to mention how the culture of the team will inevitably suffer as they all realize Hurts doesnt give them the best chance to win.  The players and coaches will realize this and the FO will continue reading the twitter cesspool that loves Hurts and his 'leadership'

Is that the game Gary Anderson missed for his first time in forever?  He was 40-40 going into that game or something like that.
He was a thrower on that team, even Jeff George went crazy in that offense.

Having Cris Carter and Randy Moss helps.

I feel like if the Colts can beat NE this Saturday it might jump start them on a run to the SB.

Imagine a Colts-Cowboys SB?  Dak vs Wentz.  Would be intriguing to say the least.

People would still defend Howie for drafting Hurts and Lurie would probably give him another extension. Barf.

Or would have been able to draft a different player, because the team would have been better last year.

Reagor definitely entering the transfer portal. JJAW on his Mary popping umbrella likely too.

JJAW might have to transfer down to D3.

I mean it's fair to say both Doug and Carson suffered the consequences of Howie's poor decision making at talent for the position.

At first I loved Carson, then I hated him, now I want him back. Kind of like that EX that you love to hate.

Sounds like you have commitment issues.

Actually Will Clapp is Jason Garrett's alter ego name.

Probably an unpopular opinion but barring a truly heartfelt apology where he actually tells the truth and comes clean, I want no part of Watson. Too much baggage and Ive had enough of feeling gross rooting for the QB.

Im sure the truth is somewhere between him being a serial sexual predator and women just trying to make a buck.  But I dont want some phony baloney, walking head case, circus of a QB situation....again

As a Wentz washer, Ill say that theres no way around the fact that he gave up on the team and the fans.  And that's why Im at peace with whatever he ends up doing in Indy (I dont think theyll win a SB there), if you want to run away and be more irrelevant so people wont bother you, then seeya

Yes, there is.  The team gave up on him... and he responded in kind.   It has nothing to do with the fans.

Out of curiosity has anyone gone back to the official website since they closed the board? I haven't. I go to BGN.

See how what worked?   I wouldn’t compare the two.  Adam’s is not a freak like Hamilton.  And hopefully Hamilton is not a complete **** like Adams.

I don't think teams view Safety as a player you take that early.  I can't think of many that were taken top 10.

Maybe Hamilton does go in the first 10 picks.  Hopefully not and he falls to one of our picks.

Are you referring to Vick?  I was a pretty standard Vick hater pre-Eagles tenure...and I'm definitely not one to just magically like people when they become Eagles.

I felt that Vick was remarkably sincere in his apology.  Then, the way he sacrificed his body as the #3 wildcat QB, the way he handled the Riley Cooper situation...he really, really won me over as a person.  He did his time and, even as a dog person, I found him pretty easy to root for.  Just my take on Vick.

His re-education with AR would have left him as the best QB in the NFL if he could have stayed healthy and could have recognized the blitz.  The release was there, the accuracy was there, the decision-making came to him, progressions were solid...he just couldn't recognize and adapt to different blitz angles.

IMO...safety and linebacker are taken later for a few reasons.

Every positions exists for a reason.  If it wasn't important (cough, fullback), it wouldn't be on the field.  A massive liability at S or LB will leave fans crying for one in round 1, but that still doesn't mean it has value there.  But it can still destroy your team if you don't have competency at these positions.

There is a reason that QB's, tackles, edge rushers, and WRs go very early.  A really good player at one of those positions brings more value to the team than a decent player at those positions.  There are more players at those positions that take over games and win them for you.

At LB/S/IOL/DT...NFL scouts, coaches, and GMs feel that there is less schematic difference between a really good player and a decent one.  Sure, there are singular examples of Aaron Donald, or a safety like Ed Reed with 12 int per year...and those guys absolutely have massive top of the draft value...but it's really unlikely you'll get that kind of game-winning impact at those positions.  And teams want game-winning impact at the top of the draft.
