It's what I expected. Hurts likes to throw outside the numbers, which means a lot of deep passes to the sideline. His good completion rate on deeper throws is a positive sign. Until he throws to the middle of the field though, he'll never be a top 12 QB. Throwing outside the numbers is also less consistent week to week, so he'll have more up weeks and more down weeks. His rushing at least gives him a floor that someone like Cousins doesn't have when he's off.

People don't like hearing this, but most stats have Hurts as an average starter this year.

You refuse to acknowledge Rodgers made the worst possible decision in that play. All because a guy on a team you like is boasting that he would've made the play. Like he would say anything else.

The defender closest to the sideline is running towards the middle of the field as Rodgers is moving up. No chance he reverses direction and gets to him in the corner of the EZ. The other defender (appears to be White) actually collides with the WR and the defender moving towards the middle of the field. Rodgers easily gets in if he runs for the corner. And again, even IF they do get him before, it's going to be 4th and goal from the 1 or 2 yard line. Rodgers made a terrible decision there and they lost largely because of that. 

It looks to me that Rodgers throws the ball at the 10 yard line just outside the right hash.  JPP is looking at him and is positioned at the 7 yard line just inside the right hash.  I think Suh is coming at Rodgers from behind.  White is square to Rodgers just behind the receiver.  Rodgers would have gotten closer but I don't know that he gets beyond about the 4 yard line.

White would have to push through the WR and the other defender to get to him. That's enough to slow him down, and Rodgers would likely be angling to the pylon. I think it's very likely he gets in, or at the very least, gets well inside the 5 yard line. And I think JPP would have been the one to actually catch him.

The thing was, Rodgers didn't have to score there. Just getting say half the yards makes going for it on 4th down easier.

I think if he has to beat just White he has better chance to score.  White would have to take a pretty flat angle and Rodgers' momentum could carry him into the end zone.  I think JPP would have a clean shot at him just inside the 5.

I am not sure what you guys are looking at, but the distance White has to the corner is shorter than the distance Rodgers has to the corner.  He easily would get there, and probably forces him out at the 5.
