Yes it’s unfair but fair isn’t the primary objective for the nfl.   Making money is.   And they make the rules (and change them) at their discretion.

If Lurie released a statement and said we will not participate in this game on Tuesday  the NFL would postpone it again. There is a 0.0% chance the NFL would give them a forfeit and lost that game revenue.

Dickerson is clearly a big part of it. Opeta-Kelce-Herbig on the inside doesn't scream confidence.

He is part of it but he certainly isn't the reason for it.  If our great running game falls apart because of the absence of Dickerson then that would be quite alarming.
