Was just watching ESPN they said Hurts made the Falcons look stupid lol

Uh no thats just soundbite tv

anyone got that next gen graph of the pass distribution? All short in the flats.

sirianni had something good planned that was easy to execute against a bad defense. But it will have to be better against good teams

Yes.  And I guess the point is that they aren't waiting until halftime to make adjustments, but are making them constantly on the sidelines.  Sort of splitting a narrow hair as I see it.

Not really. The point is there are constant adjustments and not enough time at halftime to make big adjustments. Those conversations occur and evolve through the entire game. I don’t see it as splitting hairs at all.

That’s great ….. but the Tim Tebow jersey used to be a big seller too

You obviously don’t pay attention to UCLA.  They are pointing up.

Lol. You’re right. I don’t follow college at all.

Aren't adjustments part of putting out fires?

Schwartz was always trying to put out a damn forest fire.

What did he have 1 throw over 20 yards in the air and he missed a wide open Ertz.

Yea, he really showed us

Here’s an example of two extremists.

Poster 1: You guys are all idiots for questioning Hurts as the franchise QB. Look at that one game he just had. He’s definitely the future

Poster 2: Oh Hurts sucks because he missed that one throw, it doesn’t matter that he put up very good numbers and we won 32-6.

But hey that’s how our country is about EVERYTHING so I wouldn’t expect anything less from sports fans.

Hurts played a very good game and looks much improved from last season. Winning on the road comfortably is no small task. Am I confident he’s a franchise QB? No. Am I more optimistic than I was a week ago? Yes.

Who is it ??

With Fitz out in Washington,  I bet Howie is getting ready to hornswoggle them into taking Flacco.   Maybe not a QB factory, but something of a used QB dealership.

Had a feeling you’d chime in there.

I don't want to speak for Iggles but if you look at the numbers...numbers I shared, 80% of all Covid hospitalizations have obesity as a comorbidity with 90% of deaths worldwide having obesity as a comorbidity.

Have we heard once, maintain a healthy diet?  Lose weight? Not once.

We should absolutely be hearing more guidance about improving our overall health to improve our individual outcomes, but in terms of reducing overall transmission in the shortest amount of time possible, then getting vaccinated is more plausible, more efficient, and easier to follow guidance than expecting one of the most unhealthiest nation's on the planet to suddenly stop being so unhealthy.

When your career trajectory is clearly going downward, to me that’s a failure.

He did prove he wasn't an NFL coach.  I don't think he's likely ever to return to the NFL.  I don't think he's anywhere near Saban, Petrino or Spurrier.

Meh

The biggest question on here is, does he have an NFL ARM, both accuracy and strength.

How did his arm look on his scramble pass to Goedert in the endzone?

I guess this guy is someone.  Either way, it’s great to hear the sea of green made it down.

Warning. Language.

@ManuManu

Perhaps they kept the offensive scheme as vanilla as they had to this week, and will introduce some more motion stuff down the line. I would say if we haven’t seen any by after week 4, it’d be a concern/question worth asking

Loved the Peyton/Eli feed on ESPN 2. Extremely informative stuff. Never watching the main telecast again.

I liked it more than I expected.  Peyton was good and so was Ray Lewis who had some really good insights on the difficulty of defending the RPO.  Although the funniest moment was when a fire alarm went off in Eli's house and he didn't react as if this happens all the time to him.

Whenever the Hurts Haters keep pointing back to ONE pass that he threw poorly, you know he must have had a good game

It's Eli, he didn't know what it meant

That was easily his most impressive throw.  I think there were times I read him as scrambling out of the pocket when he actually was just stepping up into it.

The scramble and throw were very good but him knowing exactly where to place the ball to throw Goedert open and make sure only he was going to catch it, was the best part.

I was more encouraged by the fade to Smith.  That was perfect touch from the pocket.   Those kind of plays, on script, is what we would need to look for.  Not the unscripted breakdown plays that Wentz was so good at.

Technically, it was a wheel, not a fade.
