I am predicting the 3--1st rd picks to be:

10-11 Dolphins finish 7-10

14-15 Eagles Finish 8-9

24-25  Colts Finish 11-6 in the playoffs and 1 and done or 2 and done.

Seems reasonable.  Who do you predict the Eagles will take with those picks?  You have them moving some capital for a FA QB IIRC.

LULZ.

Yea the Redskins, Eagles, Saints, 49ers, Browns, Steelers, etc would HATE to have a guy who's basically top 10 in ever QB stat and is the leader of a top 5 offense. lol.

The blind hate we have here for Wentz  still continues to amaze me. Just admit it, the dudes good, really good and our coach/GM / lack of talent ruined him.

Depending on how things turn out, I see them(the colts) getting to the AFC championship game.

I think the Eagles offense would be better than the Colts offense if we could swap Sanders for Taylor.

Taylor, not Wentz, is carrying that team.

Wentz is in that #8-12 range, good enough to win, not good enough to carry a team.

Which is what I predicted after the trade, he's basically reverted back to 2018-19 form, but he'll never be the shooting star of 2017 again.

I think the team would be awesome if we traded Hurts/Sanders/Howie for Wentz/Taylor/ A load of manure

I wanted Waddle over Devonta.  He's done more as a rookie.  Although I like Devonta and a 1 more.  Waddle is probably going to be the better, more explosive pro.

But in defense of Devonta, he has no one to throw him the ball.

Waddle is so much more explosive that DeVonta averaged 4.1 more yards per reception than Waddle.

Actually I figured Wentz would be a bit better this season than he's been -- he's 19th in passing yards, 26th in comp%, but 10th in TD passes and a very good 23/6 TD/INT ratio.  8-12 might be a bit high for his overall performance; I'd say he's been 15-18 range.

Next season will likely be a good indicator of where his ceiling is.

There is a lot more that goes into that than just the WR.  I mean, JJAWful averages 4.0 more yards per reception than Smith.

In all seriousness though, Kyle Pitts averages 14.6 per catch with more catches than Devonta, would you trade for Pitts straight up ??

Van Jefferson averages 16.6, would you trade Devonta for him ??

3 elite players, a future Hall of Famer, and a solid LG on that line. Oh, the persecution!

I guess there are nutty Wentz fanatics among Colts fans too.

KC has looked good recently.  They have really improved on defense.   They are coming off 2 big wins in their division.  I think after that the AFC is a crap shoot. The Chargers, Bills and NE are all about the same level.  I think the Colts look like a playoff team but for the QB.  The Ravens play well enough to beat any team including themselves. The Titans are a good team with a great defensive line.

The NFC is open.  I think GB has the advantage of playing in a bad division and they seem likely to be the 1 seed given their remaining schedule. They play the Browns, Vikings and Lions.  I don't think that's as easy as Tampa's but they should easily win 2 out of 3.   The Cowboys have not looked good on offense since Dak was injured again.  Maybe that changes.  Certainly they have the talent on offense and their defense has looked improved.  They have a fairly easy remaining schedule except for the game against the Cardinals. They just lost to the Lions and I think that was a trap game type loss.  The Rams had a big win against the Cardinals last week.  They certainly could string together a couple more wins as they play the Seahawks then the Vikings.  Tampa looked awful last night but Brady always looks bad against the Saints.  Their remaining schedule is a joke.  They play the Jets and Panthers twice.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the cardinals fall to the 5th by the time the season is over. They have colts next Saturday and Dallas the following week. Even their week 18 game is seattle who always gives them trouble at home in Arizona. The rams have a tough schedule as they got seattle, at Vikings (short week), at Baltimore and vs. SF. Kind of have a feeling the cardinals/rams are going to be in that 4/5 matchup on wild card weekend.

Green Bay should be the no. 1 seed. They play cleveland at home then Vikings at home then at Detroit. Tampa should be the no. 2 with Carolina twice and jets. Godwin is apparently out for the regular season and Mike Evans might miss a couple weeks so never know especially with how the nfl is this year. Like you said Dallas’ offense since Dak has returned has not looked good. If they are the 3 seed i don’t think they want to face a team like Sf. SF is finally healthy. Their offense is rolling and they have a defense that’s capable of matching Dallas in terms of pass rush. Bosa has been really good this year.

Afc is a completely whoever gets hot at the right time is winning it. Looks like the chiefs at the moment. Feels like the year (2003) the eagles started off 0-2 and Andy was able to right the ship and get the eagles to the nfc title game against Carolina. That bengals/chiefs game week 17 is an interesting game to me. I wanna see if the bengals can keep up with the chiefs. I think if you are gonna beat the chiefs gotta control time of possession. Indy, chargers and New England can potentially do that. Don’t think any of the 3 are as good as KC though.

The Colts WRs are still crappy. Pittman is an ascending talent, but after that, Pascal isn't very good, his TE's aren't very good, and Hilton is washed up. If they can upgrade WR this offseason, his numbers may increase significantly.

I believe if Green Bay loses one of their final games, and Dallas wins out, Dallas secures the #1 seed. I don't think that will happen, but it's not completely unrealistic.

Rodgers ain't gonna let that happen, and they have the Browns and Vikings at home, and then a trip to Detroit.

Doesn’t tampa hold the tiebreaker over Dallas? They all would have 4 losses if tampa wins out, Dallas wins out and GB wins 2 of 3. Or does it go by conference record?

Yeah I don't think GB drops a game, but the NFL has been wild this year, it wouldn't shock me in the least if they did.

If it goes by conference record in a three way tie then it makes sense Dallas would. Dallas is 8-1 in conference. Tampa is 6-4 and GB is 8-2.

It does. And yeah if GB drops one game and Dallas wins out, Dallas is #1

That would be brutal. Means tampa and GB likely play in the divisional game. And Dallas gets rams/cardinals potentially in the divisional. Rams have a better shot than the cardinals imo. I think the cardinals need murray 100% and he hasn’t been close the past couple weeks.

Eh I could see Dallas still losing in the divisional even with the 1 seed. Would be hilarious actually.

Any given Sunday. With so few games played in a season, having an off day comes with a high price.

I’m cheering for it to happen if they got the 1 seed. But the cardinals are leaking oil. Murray isn’t close to 100 percent and Hopkins might not even be back for that game according to some reports out here. I think the rams would give them a tougher challenge in that game but i don’t trust Stafford either. However i much prefer they have to face the toughest road possible. I think if they are the 3 seed and have to go through SF then tampa and then GB would make it extremely difficult for them to even get close to a SB.

Nothing odd about that.  Happens every year.  NFL is based on parity and if a team throws out a clunker, they can lose any game... and if any team gets their act together they can beat any team that's not on their top game.

It's crazy the mind gymnastics people will do to make out Wentz worse than he is.

15-18. LOL. Would love to see this list.

Well let's break it down and see where he really ranks:

Inarguably better than Wentz: Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes -- There's no debate here at all. That's 3.

Likely better than Wentz -- Allen, Herbert, Stafford, Murray, Wilson -- I'd take these guys above him, but maybe someone can debate. 5 + 3 = 8 ahead.

Same category as Wentz -- Jones, Carr, Burrow, Lamar, Prescott -- 5 more. So at WORST I'd have him 14.

I guess people could try and argue Baker, Tannehill, Jimmy G and Cousins...but c'mon.

8-14 is the range to me.
