Ertz has more targets and TDs this year than Goedert. Is Ertz better?

Nope, he plays in a modern NFL offense with a quarterback

Hurts is holding back the entire franchise.  Goedert and Smith should be getting 20 targets a game between them, in an adult offense.

Instead they get half that and Hurts scrambles 10 times

That’s the biggest reason for Smith’s production vs Waddle.

In rushing attempts, the Eagles are 2nd, Colts are 4th, and in passing attempts the Eagles are last, Colts are 26th.  Colts are 32nd for the last 3 games, Eagles and Pats are tied for 2nd to last.
Looks like all 3 teams are playing with game managers as QB’s.

Devonta Smith has more catches, yards, and TDs than Waddle. Not sure what people are going on about with Waddle. Smith has clearly been the better player. If you watched Miami this season all they do is throw 3 yard slants to Waddle all game.

Yea.., No,  Waddle has 86 catches for 849 yards, Smith has 50 for 701, they both have 4 Tds.

Potentially not good. OL could be the Eagles "target" testing group this week with Dickerson going on yesterday.

I don't like Collinsworth but I give him credit; he had an immediate distaste for the hit put on Godwin

Collinsworth is outspoken. Like him or hate him, he typically calls it as he sees it.

Yeah totally, thats why we cant evaluate anything at all until players are retired.  Really gives us chance to evaluate the whole picture without going out on a limb.

Im stunned youre "higher" on all the players that have stats.

Chase leads the league in drops. Are you waiting and seeing with him, too?

Imagine thinking players who put up stats are good? I mean, I know this is contrary to the Howie Roseman school of thought, but I'll clue you in too....the guys with higher stats are usually better players.

And yeah, Chase is wait and see as well. He had a great start, and then teams adjusted a bit to him. He had a really bad drop last week that turned into an INT. Like most rookies, he's had ups and downs, but the book isn't fully written on him yet. He has taken over a few games though, to compare to Smith, who I think has one game over 100 yards? Chase also has 10 TDs to Smith's 4. But yeah, who needs good stats?

I dont trust Howie either, but when you factor in a couple things(people spending too much for QB's, thus pushing other talented players down the board, the fact that he has 3 picks in the first round I think He will do pretty good.

Castro-fields from PSU, will be there in the 20s. Rasheed Walker of PSU, Josh Jobe of Bama,  Devin Lloyd,

I actually think we're gonna be pretty good this draft. Theres only 2 things I dont want.

Trade our picks up for Pickett, Trade our picks out for Watson/Wilson

I hope you're right but I have my doubts that Howie would pick a LB or S in the 1st round.  I think he would rather take Lane Johnson's replacement even if that means he sits on the bench before he takes a S or LB in the first.

No, that's fake news media's stats. Don't be a sheep for the fake news media.

Oh man that's huge.  How does that effect him going in to FA?  Can Howie buy low on an injured player or does that only apply to drafting guys?

It’ll be really interesting if Kelce doesn’t retire. Linderbaum would be a perfect pick if he does. But if you take a centre in the first round, he better be starting week 1.

I don't want to take a C in RD1 because of positional value and Stoutland who can turn late round picks into starters, but Linderbaum is a top 15 player. Taking him is not a reach.

speaking of Linderbaum.  Ignore his Basic B mom's way too overused did a thing saying.

The defense has needs at all 3 levels; I have doubts LB will be a 1st round pick unless Howie sees value there.  More likely a combination of DL, S, and CB.  Linderbaum would be a possibility if he's on the board.

WR should wait until Round 3 or 4

I would steer clear. He’ll probably just sign a 1 year prove it deal with TB

Brutal blow to godwin and the Bucs. He’s a FA at the end of the year.

So with Dickerson out who goes at LG?

Opeta, I think.

Colts blew out the Bills and Texans the last couple weeks. Patriots blew out Atlanta, Tennessee and then had the wind bowl. Eagles have a shotty QB

Colts are winning for the most part because of their running game.
Wentz was a combined 27-42-264 -2Tds in those two games.

Mac Jones vs Colts  26-45-299-2Td-2Int.
Carson Wentz vs Pats. 5-12-57-1Td-1int.

Both are better than Hurts, but that isn’t saying a whole lot.

How about their college careers then?

They played on the same team at the same time.  How did their respective careers work out?

Do you know how much their college careers matter in the NFL?   Zilch.

If they did, Ty Detmer would be a Hall of Famer.
