I think Howie's very good at signing FA's coming off an injury that turn into busts for the team.  I am not sure why you wish that on Godwin who seems like a decent guy.

Sure... except that Waddle was drafted higher, despite the injury he suffered his last year in college and Smith being more productive at Alabama, and has been more productive in Miami.   Not a single thing you have presented has made a cogent argument that Smith is clearly the better player, let alone that it can't even be discussed.  Nothing that has happened in the NFL, which is all that really matters... would suggest that it is inconceivable to suggest that Waddle could be the better player.

I think hurts was a full go 

the browns gameplan of trying to throw 7 times already with mullens seems like a recipe for disaster. 

That could’ve been PI on both receiver and DB on that play.

I dont really care to prove it through some scientific method. Its just the truth.  Smith is better, the only reason Waddle was drafted higher is the Tyreek Hill factor.

The original point was that Waddle and Chase were better than Smith and to say otherwise was being a homer.  No, Smith is better Waddle.  Chase is arguable IMO.

 

Again, given over 30 more passes per game, which Smith more than deserves, this isnt even a conversation and Smith would probablybe in the ROY conversation.

But we have a running back throwing him the ball.

I chose to engage you, because I thought you were capable of defending your assertion.  I chose not to engage the original point, because when the opening salvo includes an insult or belittling the opposing viewpoint initially indicates an inability to engage in a discussion without slinging insults. 

 

My point isn't that Waddle is better, just that there's no definitive answer to which is better based on what has happened in the NFL by both players.  Both could have higher stats with better QB situations and better systems around them.  And neither has proven that they are clearly better than the other without room for a dissenting viewpoint.  I certainly hope that Smith turns out to be the better player, but the jury is still out, as I see it.   That said, the difference between Waddle and Smith to date certainly doesn't indicate that Waddle is better than Smith AND a 1st round pick in this draft.

I posted it before but it's crazy to think that given his YPC, if Smith had the same number of catches as Waddle he would have 1,205 yards, good for 4th in the NFL behind Kupp, Jefferson and Adams.  I'm also not one to pound the table for Smith but the truth is in the numbers.

If i were a raiders fan I’d lose my mind right now. They ran the ball down the browns throats the entire drive. Then they get to the 6 with a timeout left and over a minute and get pass happy.

I like the kingsman series. Always entertaining. This one looks like it could go either way. I’m hoping it’s good cause the other two are.

The bigger issue for Raiders fans is likely starting the game before most of them are out of work.   How many fans in LV, LA or Oakland get off work by 2 or 3 PM on a Monday?
