Interesting that Jefferson was actually the bigger miss than Metcalf.

More interesting is that JJ was the obvious choice... and Howie had to be smarter than everybody.   If he just had taken the highest rated WR... that would have been that.

Terrible officiating; you wait for the coach to walk away, and then throw the flag?  Gutless

Don't think it's him. His son perhaps...

Is he moving on up?

He is bad though.  Drafting him #1 overall was a horrible waste of resources.

4 yard run on 3rd and 8 with Quez wide open downfield?

You talk like the Eagles offense haven't had the best 1st% on 3rd downs since week 8.  You talk like Jalen Hurts doesn't pick up first downs he decides to turn it up field.  You talk like he didn't have a game sealing 24 yard TD run against the Saints on 3rd and 8.  You talk like Hurts has missed Watkins down the field when he has hit Watkins perfectly in stride in the endzone only for Watkins to drop it on 3rd and 10.

Yup. Finally got a piece of the pie

Bears are terrible

Lol

I hate everything about the Vikings' offensive game plan tonight. They've taken multiple deep shots on 3rd down that were never going to be complete.

Sure... except that Waddle was drafted higher, despite the injury he suffered his last year in college and Smith being more productive at Alabama, and has been more productive in Miami.   Not a single thing you have presented has made a cogent argument that Smith is clearly the better player, let alone that it can't even be discussed.  Nothing that has happened in the NFL, which is all that really matters... would suggest that it is inconceivable to suggest that Waddle could be the better player.

Waddle was not a better player coming out of college, his ceiling was possibly higher and there was concerns with Smith's size.  At the end of the day, Smith was a Desean Jackson type prospect. Discounted because of his size but an absolutely incredible football player. From route running, to hands, to understanding of the game...Smith >>>>>>>>> Waddle as a player coming out.

Jason Peters sighting.

Granted, he is in street clothes on the sidelines, but hey, he got on TV.

Holy crap 🤣

I didn't say he was.  I said that it is too soon in their NFL careers to make the statement that Smith is so much better than Waddle that the opposite side can't be argued.

But, you might have gone a little over board in your use of '>'.   The difference between them is not that great, not even close to that.

I read the rest of the exchange.  I'll shut up now haha.

That pizza looks terrible — 80% dough

The Vikings are going to blow this game.

Kirk gonna Kirk

Every time I watch a viking game, I get the urge to punch Howie in the face. Reagor over Jefferson. Idiot.
